Who are you hoping the Leafs take with their first rounder?

McGroarty sounds like an interesting pick. Decent size, pretty good skill set, and very hard working on/off the ice. Plus he grew up as a Leafs fan.

The rankings seem to generally have him in our range, though the main thread on him has a lot of fans of teams picking in the teens expressing interest.
 
I'm not going to pretend I'm an expert on Lambert, but this is what a scout said about him (from Hockey News):

"The best skater in the draft and maybe the best hands. But his hockey sense is a question mark. His complete level and worth ethic is so bad at times too. 90 percent of the time, it's not there. But the hands and feet are special".

Not sure that I love this description.

 
I'm intrigued by Isaac Howard.

His rankings are all over the place as well. From 15th (McKenzie) all the way into the 40's.

Interesting player.
 
Pick a big guy that uses his body well, power forward type. After the top 7 goes, it gets really thin and there is not much separation from 8 to 26

It's hilarious when people spend weeks to months claiming that Mrazek is going to be kept as their #1 goalie, bought out, or dumped at the cost of a 1st round pick, and then when Mrazek is dumped for 13 negligible draft spots and they were completely wrong, they still come in and act like they were Nostradamus. :laugh:

To make up for lost playoff revenue the new AGM will also double as Team Doctor.

I don't think anything ACTUALLY thought Mrazek would be kept.

I believe those people were trolling they had to be.
