IF It's kept Matt Savoie or Brad Lambert they have no center prospects worth a a damn
Lambert seems to be dropping a little
If he goes like Antu Raty did last year he'd be a big steal

Expect them to trade it as part of a deal for a goalie.
fellow burlingtoner!Shane Wright...he played on my son's AAA team in Burlington
Like Tyler Biggs? Or Luke Schenn? How about a guy that will eventually grow to be a man instead of a 5'10, 160lbs "SKILL GUY" that plays in a B level Swedish league??
Preferably a small player under 6'.
Just for the reading material.
Im good with that. I want Grubauer and I know the Kraken want Mrazek. Make it happen Kyle!Dubas has traded away a Leafs 1st round pick away in 3 consecutive years since he has been GM as results of Muzzin, Marleau and Foligno transactions,
Once again as the draft approaches the Leafs goaltending position is in disarray and I wouldn't be the least bit shocked if Leafs pick is used in the process to address the situation.
But who? I don't think there is a goalie outside of the top handful (which aren't available) that I'd feel comfortable dealing a first and possibly other assets for? Legit curious who you have in mind. Gibson, I guess?
And if he remains a 2 goal guy it will be a flushed pick. I would risk a 2nd on Lambert but there has to be safer options for the #1 pick.Lambert seems to be dropping a little

Helly would be the only one I'd trade a first for that's even mildly available
And I would imagine outside of a drastic over-payment, he's not heading anywhere at the moment.
Kinda puts into perspective just how few reliable goalies there are in the league.
There are a lot of guys I'm fine with, but I don't think any are a guarantee to be better than Campbell has been - I think they have to hope they can somehow catch lightning in a bottle and have a 2nd/3rd tier goalie have a career season.
I think they'd be better off getting some guys up front and on the back end who can better help prevent high danger chances to try to make the goaltending look better.....unfortunately, I think their current style of play makes that very difficult.
I'd like to see McGroarty in a Leafs uni, but I'd be lying if I said 98% of that wasn't because his name is boss.
Unfortunately the market is pretty weak at the moment you are correct. If we can find a similar goalie to jack at a 2/3 cap hit I'd also be fine with that tbh.
Smart dumpster diving is fine. But imo we dived and over paid last year with mrazek.
There's a lot of cool names in this draft tbh I'm excited to see how it shakes out. Interesting off season
I don't have a specific Goalie in mind just a hunch that they will move the pick for one.But who? Assuming you do not mean 2/3 of his current cap hit. I'm thinking Husso at Drieger money but I think somebody like NJ will outbid us for him unless Husso sees a huge opportunity in Toronto.
