At 25 you don't know who BPA is if you did Bergeron isn't a 2nd rounder, Point isn't a 3rd, Benn, isn't a 5th, Kaprizov isn't a 5th Guadreau isn't a 4th, Kaberle isn't an 8th, Pasta doesn't go 25.


BPA lasts about 5 picks, maybe 10 if it's a deep draft beyond that you don't know who BPA is.

They won't pick in this 1st round I'm predicting. I suspect it's the type of draft that turns into a complete crapshoot before reaching the middle of the 1st round. They'll trade down to accumulate draft picks.

The Leafs simply do not have enough of these types of players and that shit doesn't fly in the playoffs. Proof is in the pudding.

Hard to project teenagers - if it was as easy as you're insinuating, teams would rarely miss on draft picks....and we all know the opposite is more likely.

Biggs was a horrible pick, he did not have the skill level.
They ruined Schenn by brining him in as an 18 year old. He should have marinated for at least two years.

There is no goalie in this draft worth anything more than a 3rd. Taking a goalie with our first would be leaving so much value behind.

The vast majority of goalies of this type, are first round picks. There are Zero such goalies projected in this years draft.

Shesterkin is now eight years post draft, and this was his first truly great season. His first NHL season, was six years post draft.

Vasilevskiy was a first round pick, and became a full time NHL guy, five seasons after being drafted.

I mean, if Tyler Brennan is available at our 3rd pick... maybe...

Yeah no that would be horrible. There might not even be a goalie drafted in the first 2 rounds because this draft sucks for them.
