Barron's shoulders are barely above Carrier's. Barron is all neck lol.
Finally, somebody gets it !!

Last time they did it was back in 2009 in the Halak era
I was certainly critical of Anderson last season, very pleased with him this season. It's not just the fact he's getting points, he's engaged physically and is making good plays even when they don't result in goals. He'll never get to the levels we hoped when he signed here, but a physical 3rd liner who can slot higher in the lineup occasionally and who can put up about 15-20 goals is a good piece to have. If only his cap hit was about 1M-2M lower.
Yes and the reason they also stayed good for so long is that they’re not shy of replacing those guys when it’s time. How was Tampa good for so long. A ridiculous 3rd and 4th line that buried teams.

People wanna see results right now and some probably think they’re there right now and need to sign Evans but they’re still rebuilding and attaching themselves to Evans for around 4x4 is not something they should do in a rebuild, trading him is the thing to do.
You have to have an elite core to operate around like Tampa has/had to actually pull that off successfully. We don’t anyone that projects to be any of Kucherov, Stamkos, Hedman, Point, Bishop/Vasilevskiy, etc which makes finding the depth players much easier. We also don’t have the Florida and state tax benefit to get those kind of players on great contracts.Yes and the reason they also stayed good for so long is that they’re not shy of replacing those guys when it’s time.

I think Tampa have been replacing their bottom six mainly for cap reasons.Yes and the reason they also stayed good for so long is that they’re not shy of replacing those guys when it’s time.

Amazing on how that pendulum could swing either way.Based on this pic, we're also in da mix for the 1st OV pick.
Is 4x4 really that big of a deal for a center who does all the little things and provides secondary scoring with a rising salary cap? It's less than what Dvorak has been getting paid under a flat cap and a contract that was signed when the cap was lower. I also see 4x4 as tradeable for when (if) kids like Beck/Kapanen have learned the ropes and are ready to take on that role full-time in 2-3 years.Yes and the reason they also stayed good for so long is that they’re not shy of replacing those guys when it’s time.

LOL! I love that nickname.Josh Anderson was awesome today, like a speedy Clydesdale out there, they had no answer for him, great performance.
Evans again, solid AF.
Aircraft Carrier has stabilized the defense.
Yoelle, wtf?
No running around in the last two games, much better positional play, I enjoyed it very much.
Rebuild for the sake of acquiring picks phase is OVER, now if a package with Evans can net an NHL ready 23-27 age group RDman capable of 20+ TOI …. that’s another matterYes and the reason they also stayed good for so long is that they’re not shy of replacing those guys when it’s time.

It's a good thing you didn't typo "a" and "f***ing" by switching their places.Heineman is a f***ing moose.
Those were the exact words used by Stevie Y & Cooper after CBJ eliminated TBay in the playoffs w Kucherov being tossed out of game 1 for swinging his stick at Anderson’s head. Torts game plan was for Anderson, his 3rd line W, to physically target & abuse Kucherov, who doesn’t like being hitJosh Anderson was awesome today, like a speedy Clydesdale out there, they had no answer for him, great performance.

I hope you're right. Those 2 games are gonna be a huge confidence booster for the guys. They still need to work hard but this is gonna do wonders to the morale of the team.
I believe you attended @Andrei79's seminar.Barron's shoulders are barely above Carrier's. Barron is all neck lol.

That would be the point. You trade Evans for a 1st because you have his replacements already. Then you have three 1sts, two 2nds and two 3rds this draft. That’s before trading Savard and Armia. The team would have the ammunition to get a big upgrade either at 2C or DRebuild for the sake of acquiring picks phase is OVER, now if a package with Evans can net an NHL ready 23-27 age group RDman capable of 20+ TOI …. that’s another matter
I can only imagine what Hughes and Gorton are saying.Suzuki decks Ducherov.
Kirby Dach can start and stop again and is now faster than Patrik Laine.
A new Newhook.
Anderson and Heineman are Power Rangers.
Matheson got a new brain for Christmas.
We just need our top line to start scoring again that and Slaf to become a tad less clumsy.
Damn my life is good.
Well, there's a reason for that. Years of success have mellowed the TB fans, while six decades of futility have made the Make Believe fans resentful.I swung by the TB forum and was somewhat surprised at civility... most comment are about the team not showing up for the game and actually giving Habs some credit... within reason of course. So nothing like reading the leafs forum, for example.
Who do you feel takes his place? I agree somewhat with you, but not convinced we have him covered if we trade him....That would be the point. Trading Evans is the easiest decision ever. He’s shooting 30%. He’s never played like this at any point in his career. You have a couple players that can replace him in the system. Strike while the iron is hot.

Every year even die hard tank fans enthusiastically claim the Habs should keep the latest “good for the room” vet. Last year (!) we read that Savard should probably be extended due to his veteran guile (!!).That would be the point. You trade Evans for a 1st because you have his replacements already. Then you have three 1sts, two 2nds and two 3rds this draft. That’s before trading Savard and Armia. The team would have the ammunition to get a big upgrade either at 2C or D

What’s the rush to replace him?Give Evans the money from Dvo leaving and at 4 years, and that's no big deal.........otherwise we have to find his replacement, and I am not convinced Beck will be able to get that done.
Who do you feel takes his place? I agree somewhat with you, but not convinced we have him covered if we trade him....
Beck and Kapanen are both much more suited to play 3C than him. And you’re not going to pay a 4C $4m+ per year for multiple years, that would be asinine.Who do you feel takes his place? I agree somewhat with you, but not convinced we have him covered if we trade him....
