Think so also. But thinking of contract status, it may not be. Change of scenery and shake up is needed for both. WE NEED CHANGE.

Unless they are being directly coached to play an offensive style of low-event / low-danger / low-chance hockey. There's just no reason that a team with Eichel, Hall, Reinhart, Skinner, Staal, and Olofsson should be last in the entire league in even strength scoring and bottom 5 in goals/game. None.
Not for nothing dude, but this is one of the worst takes I've ever seen on here or anywhere else. Too many points to counter so I'll just say, worst post ever.
Change for change sake is rarely a good idea.
There should be no players that are beyond dealing at this point. But, the Sabres need to make trades that improve the team. Reinhart for Bennett makes the Sabres markedly worse in every conceivable way.
Reinhart has better possession numbers and offensive production. The only place where Bennett looks better on paper is that he is cheap right now against the cap. But, that is for a reason.
Bennett is producing less offensively this season than Lazar and Reider are.
Giving up a top 6 forward for a bottom 6 forward is not the move the Sabres need.
The first move should be to launch anyone who thought trading ROR was a good idea into the sun, then launch multiple nuclear warheads along the same path to ensure that they can't come back
The second move should be to fire Krueger and hire Boudreau
The third move should be to implement a ban on any Eichel trades until he's a year from UFA
The fourth move should be to trade for a goalie upgrade over Hutton
Unless they are being directly coached to play an offensive style of low-event / low-danger / low-chance hockey.
You can't fire ownership.
Imagine saying this while also saying we should trade Reinhart for Bennett lmao
My post was purely speculative on if we blew it up, not that I currently am for doing so. We are getting close though depending entirely on Eichel.
I would like to try a real NHL coach before we blow it up. The guy we have now is a soccer coach.
You can't fire ownership.
How sad and depressing is knowing that the only thing that would save the Sabres is what saved the Blackhawks roughly 15 or so years ago (And I don't mean end up with Patrick Kane). You can't fire ownership.
