High skill - Low hockey IQ.
I know it's just a typo but this would be like the love child of Craig Ludwig and Luke RichardsonSo far he's been a .060PPG player
Substance abuse is still a rumor.
As someone said he can't dangle and skate at the same time. It's his ultimate flaw because dangling is his best skill but he just never really get anything out of it.
He's got a great shot and I really really wish someone would play him on his off side (RW) because all his goals seems to come from there. I bet if he played there he'd find his true place in the NHL. I remember seeing replays of his goals one year and they all came from the right side, but he never played there with the Habs. It pissed me off beyond belief.
He's not incredible defensively but I've seem worse. To me it's not something that would hold him back if he can produce offensively.
Nothing happened to him. He is just another in a very long line of players who didn't meet the lofty expectations all top picks get, fair or not. There are way too many variables to not expect there to be lots of big misses in a draft environment.
There was that whole "cops called to his apartment at 8AM where there were a whack of people present" incident...
But I'm sure they were just singing kumbaya and drinking green tea
It’s not “what’s happening” it’s “what happened”.
I think the Sens are pretty much the ideal situation for him to turn it around. Give him a top 6 role and let him get some confidence back. Worst case he'd still pick up ~50 points and then he's trade bait at the deadline.Pretty much this and it's not like the Sens are the ideal situation for him to turn it around.
At some point a duck is a duck.

In Pittsburgh the only thing he did well was help the Pens get Zucker.
I think the long layoff will do wonders for his knee injuries.
I think he will bounce back and become a high-end C for Pittsburgh this year.

He'll dig the Coyotes out of the hole they're in this season, I'm pretty sure.
Galchenyuk is going to be 35 one day and people are still going to be talking about his potential.
