i always thought of him as more of a cooterIs Cooch actually his nickname to Sharks fans? When I hear or see the word cooch, something completely different comes to mind.

I didn't bring up Crosby in this convo. You did. Nice try, bud.
Couture didn't win the Smythe because his team didn't win. It had nothing to do with Crosby.
No, he got no credit because his team didn't win. Why is that concept so hard for you to grasp? Again, this literally has nothing to do with Crosby. I still don't know why you keep bringing him up.And if Couture had 19 points, Sid had 30, and Sharks lost in 6, who wins the CS?
Couture didn't get credit at 30 pts because of no star power. That goes for other stars in the league...like if McDavid had 30 and Couture had 19 but Sharks won.
Don't kid yourself that name power doesn't impact votes. Couture has very little name power.
Drugs? Is he not playing to his potential in the regular season? How do you have 36 pts in RS and then 30 pts playoffs?
He's got a worse twin that plays for him during the regular season?Drugs?

Do you want to opine on the 2013 Hart results while we're talking about undeserving winners of awards based on star power name recognition? I didn't think so.
It’s been an absolute pleasure to watch him play this post-season.
You realize Sid is a bigger star than Ovi, right? So star power argument doesn't work for that. Sorry bud. If you miss 1/4 of the season unless you are Mario you aren't winning.
And 30 points losing is not "his team didn't win" terrirtory, especially when the winner has 11 less points. That's the star power argument in effect.
The number of clutch goals he's scored when his team needed it most late in the 3rd is unreal.
I think the last time a player had 15+ goals in the playoffs was Kane over a decade ago.
