They certainly were trend setters in every sense.
Just think of the primitive equipment they used to record in the studio and STILL achieved complete gems.
I mean... 100 watt Vox amps for live shows miked up with the PA sound system. It’s hilarious.
There is no way the fans at those early Beatles shows heard anything.

my older sister saw them in MLG they played for like a half hour, waved goodbye and that was that, I asked her what they played and she said "who knows, couldn't hear a thing"

don't mean to argue chum but it was definitely Animals Tour at Ivor Wynne, it was the one and only time they played there, that said I didn't remember them doing the whole DSotM but apparently they did and finished up with Echoes and not Set the Controls

Pink Floyd Setlist at Ivor Wynne Stadium, Hamilton
Says at the top of your attachment Wish you were here tour, I guess you were at the same concert as my brother, I was sure it was the DSofM tour, but stand corrected it was the Wish you were here tour, definitely not the animals tour.

Animals was just out I think and they did a bunch of it, they weren't like the other bands, if you know what I mean

Of course, do you remember that The Kings were the house band there until they had the hit Switch inot Glide

and hey Louis Unellis pizza across from Walt Shawadies store
And Mattinas pizza
We had a grocery store growing up on John and Robert in the late 60s to the 80s
We lived by the abandoned milk factory
“ Borden’s “ where we played as kids

Orange Double Barrels and Purple Doubledomes

Follow her down to a bridge by a fountain
Where rocking horse people eat marshmallow pies
Everyone smiles as you drift past the flowers
That grow so incredibly high

it just explains it so well
Every word of every song of every album was a masterpiece and so different than anything else , even the goofy songs were strangely masterful

I'm rather happy that I kept my turntable and 2500 albums the way the past year has been. Here's my setup.

That's cool. A few years ago a bought a fiio portable dac. My old ipod classic died but I wanted to go back to full sound. This portable player plays every format including lossless compressed like flac. It takes 2 micro sd cards and I keep 230 GB of music on it at any time. I listen to it with my hifiman 400i planar magnetic phone's.
