My brother saw Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon tour at Ivor Wynn Stadium in the Hamilton, nowhere to go but down from there.........
I was at Ivor Wynne that day, it was the Animals tour, they played the whole album took a short break and then came back and did side 1 of DSotM and then encored with Set the Controls

Tarawnna I think it was in exhibition stadium??? it was outdoors for sure, I think I was around 20 or something

from the time I was 13 or so I spent every dime I had on seeing live music at least till I was 30ish and got married

saw Steppenwolf, Rolling Stones, Moody Blues, Dr. John, Clapton, Alice Cooper, Zappa, Zeppelin, Jethro Tull, The Band, Aerosmith, James Gang, Skynyrd, Bowie, Stevie Wonder, Dire Straits Meatloaf, Lightfoot, John Fogarty, Neil Young CS&N, Linda Ronstadt, Eagles, Grateful Dead, NRPS, Guess Who, The Who, Paul, George, Ringo, Pink Floyd, The Kinks, Lindisfarne, Poco, Bob Dylan, Springsteen, Bob Seger, Fleetwood Mac, Peter Green, Roy Buchanan, Procol Harem, ACDC, Beck, Bogart & Appice, Mahavishnu, Yes, GFR, and tons more country acts

saw ZZTop, Max Webster, Saga, Rush, REM, Colin James, Jeff Healy, SRV, Crowbar, Heart in various bars
Also love everyone of these awesome bands you have listed ... we were so lucky
Talk about depth !
In the 60s and 70s great bands were 15-20 deep every year with musicians and lyricists and performers never to be seen or heard again

Nah, I’m talking about the DSotM tour. I saw the animals tour in Clevland, they didn’t play Hamilton on that tour, only Montreal.

I'm rather happy that I kept my turntable and 2500 albums the way the past year has been. Here's my setup.

I was BBQing today and set up the outdoor speakers and one the albums I put on was The Beatles(White Album)

I love those guys and have since I saw them that night in '64 on Ed Sullivan, my Dad said "they won't be around in another year!" little did he know
I have the luscious Beatles in a vault or time out for a while , you know what I mean , but I’m sure I’ll be leaning there for the 100000th time again shortly

Nah, I’m talking about the DSotM tour. I saw the animals tour in Pontiac Michigan, they didn’t play Hamilton on that tour, only Montreal.

don't mean to argue chum but it was definitely Animals Tour at Ivor Wynne, it was the one and only time they played there, that said I didn't remember them doing the whole DSotM but apparently they did and finished up with Echoes and not Set the Controls

it was great playing in there, my first year in Jr they still had grass, they put in the astro turf after that season, the first game on the astro turf, I had no idea how much it was going to tear me up, I got my dad to take me to Kenesky's the following saturday to buy some hand to elbow forearm pads and knee socks, I swear to god I still have discoloration in the inside of my right arm

Every album was a best of lololol
Incredible , never again will a rock force , offer us peons of music lol such pleasure and beauty
They certainly were trend setters in every sense.
Just think of the primitive equipment they used to record in the studio and STILL achieved complete gems.
I mean... 100 watt Vox amps for live shows miked up with the PA sound system. It’s hilarious.
There is no way the fans at those early Beatles shows heard anything.

Loved playing there ..
Also that memory of Pop Kenesky and the boys reminded me of the 3steps up to the door and the beautiful aroma of leather , and seeing if we could find some equipment that was from a NHL goalie
