Same as before. He will go to Seattle and be flipped. His contract is negative value at this point. The question is does STL eat some salary to shed the contract + get an asset or do they just give him away.

His contract is not at negative value. He had .56 ppg in his return from injury. He has been cleared by multiple doctors. Please stop creating these bullshit lies

Can the Blues retain 2M in cap? What's his trade value at 5.5M/per for 2 years? Top prospect?
We can technically retain anything, we'll have a ton of cap space, but it doesn't seem like something Army wants to do. We'll just have to wait and see. He'll be moved within the week IMO.

I think he has positive value, but only because there are GMs who will have faith that his scoring will return. Let's not pretend that a $7.5M player scoring at a 46 point pace has value.

Seriously for being out for 2 years on a botched surgery to come back and do that. Plus have .50 gpg in the playoffs shows he is healthy. No player comes back from missing almost and entire season ( with exception to kuch) and kills it. That's why blues should just have him play next year and move him at tdl. Cause nobody here seems to want to offer anything of value. Obviously what we think at the end of the day doesn't mean anything but one would think that gm consensus was the same hence a trade didn't happen unless gms wanted to wait after the expansion draft.

Does the foundation Voracek for Tarasenko swap still make sense?
No no and no. This has been said several times. Blues are looking to clear his cap and take a run at landeskog vorcek doesn't help that. Blues need to get younger not older.

I really don't think that his contract is negative value. There were reports of multiple teams taking on the full freight, and then there were teams that were willing to do some with retention. Obviously the Blues don't want to carry any money, but they'd get something for him even at the full hit going to the other team. Its just that I would assume that people are low balling the hell out of the Blues about it.

Umm who is lying ? He was not taken for free and could not be traded before? It has been said he is medically cleared and ok now but stil, doesn’t change the fact that he has not been able to get as much in return as a lot of people thought

The guy said he has no value. That's pure bullshit. Even in your response he has some very just not the value I or others perceive. To say he has no value or negative value is a pure bullshit.

It's quite clear he has negative value. It's going to be one hell of an offseason. Looking forward to it even more than next season honestly. Going to have to earn that paycheck if you're an NHL GM this year.

Yeah angry about this no. We shall see what happens.
We've already seen. Blues: "Here take Tarasenko for free." Expansion team looking for offence: "No thanks." Add to it that Armstrong was trying to move him before the ED and you see reality. He can be traded, but not unless the Blues are taking back similar money with similar question marks.
