There are a some posters that are so extreme to the Dubas side it’s ridiculous. There are also some people that are so extreme to the other side its ridiculous. It’s just so annoying when either side can’t admit any wrong.

Holl played 5/7 games and played more min/g than a 6/7 forced in the line up would.
Sheldon’s an nhl coach who had the fastest streak to 100 wins in Toronto, you’re a hfb poster who continually craps on a 115pt team suggesting their barren of good players.
I know who’s opinion is more valid

Did they? I don’t recall that they were active on trying to move him. Holl would be navbed up in a flash if he was available for free. Listening to trade offers doesn’t equate to actively shopping him

Pretty sure I didn’t say they were barren of good players. In fact they have lots of good players. The problem is that those players don’t show up in elimination games in the playoffs.

Keefe has his coaching job because he’s been brown nosing Dubas for years. It’s most certainly not his coaching acumen or intelligence.

Okay bud.

Yeah it’s pretty funny. All you can do is hang in the middle with the rest of us and wait for them to wear themselves out.

On the one hand, yeah. On the other hand, we're Leafs fans. Waiting on any of us to wear ourselves out is kind of like waiting on the Leafs to stop breaking our hearts.

Winning changes everything.
At present I’m not even talking about the Cup. Some hard fought, concrete showing that this decided process is at least as advertised.
Right now you’re either tired of losing or defend it.

Agreed. It really takes away the enjoyment from the majority of us who want to discuss what the team could do
That’s hilarious coming from you. There us more to a forum then just discussing “what they could do”. There is also discussing what they have or have not done and that is totally relevant to your discussion on what they could do.

I would love Nylander for a top 3 draft pick

Sheds 6.9 mil in cap room
Trade Muzzin shedding 5.5 mil
Robidas island mrazek 3.5 mil
Trade kerfoot 3.3 mil in cap space

Let 32 point player mikheyev walk away

19 mil in cap space

Sign Campbell 6 yrs 5 mil
Pay Sandin 4.5 mil 6 yrs
9 .5 m left for sand paper

That's a massive risk on Sandin. He hasn't shown anywhere near enough to get a deal like that. I think you'd get better value using Sandin to move contracts out and create space rather than paying him that much.

Not that I want to move him, I don't.

Literally nobody "fawns at the feet of Dubas". Repeatedly addressing moronic criticisms is not fawning.
Yep. Nobody being honest could dispute that. Conversations here typically go:

Person A: Makes factually incorrect statement and/or misrepresentation about the team, its players, and/or Dubas, with no substantiation.
Person B: Corrects factually incorrect statement and/or misrepresentation about the team, its players, and/or Dubas, with substantiation.
Person A: Has no answer so ignores the discussion they themselves brought up, accuses person B of being a Dubas lover, and then just endlessly repeats "playoffs!!" and "first round!!".

Rinse and repeat.

A lot of the back and forth between Dubas is not actually facts besides saying 105 point team to 115 point team and then 1st round exits. The argument is all opinionated. Everyone has their opinion on him and they aren’t moving on that opinion.

Gotta see how the next two weeks plays out but we are not in a very good position going into the draft with 3 picks for a second consecutive year. Rumblings are Leafs do not have the assets; are not willing to give up the assets or take on the bad contracts required to dump Mrazek. Hence why we are hearing they may stick with Mrazek and find a cheap starter/backup. Fleury would be that guy if he was willing to come here on a cheap deal.

This is true, many feel that their opinions are facts.

Exactly. We don’t know how a world with Nylander traded or Tavares not signed would work out. Side A has one opinion on how it would look and side B has another. Could be worse or could be better we will never know. We only know what has happened now. Both sides talk about those two topics like they’re facts when they’re just opinions.

The screw up in evaluation is with you thinking Holl is a 7. He’s a 4/5 RD who eats minutes and pk for 2m. No, he’s not some elite asset but I’m sure they did their due diligence before pulling that move. Coming out of the XD only losing Hallander & a 7th is good business regardless

We didn’t lose Hallander and a 7th. We lost McCann, the guy that led an awful Seattle team with 27 tucks this past season who also would have been an RFA. That’s the guy we lost because that’s the guy Seattle took. Getting McCann for fucck all was a good move, letting him go was pathetic. No surprise there though. Your obsession with Dubass and defending him is kind of sickening. I really don’t get you Dubass defenders, I’ve never seen anyone so obsessed with a GM ever in pro sports. What’s funny about it all is that he hasn’t won a single playoff round.

McCann has a 5M cap hit for 5 more years and has a 10 team no trade list starting next year.

There’s really only 1 thing they can “do”.
Start winning or make changes. And not the same deck chair changes.
That’s the bottom line after 8 years of Shanahan.

Yes, that is the contract he just signed during this past season with Seattle. We would have had him as an RFA and could have traded him for another asset. I could think of 20 times that’d love to get their hands on a 27 goal guy and would give up a decent asset(s). Disgustingly pathetic decision at the time to expose him and has only gotten worse. I told you all this would happen.

We very literally did.

We very literally willingly and conciously exposed Jared McCann, a scoring LW. Can you tell me which position we have the least depth in?

Now this is an example of fact that will be distorted so that it doesn't sound so bad.

Exactly. These Dubasites trying to make themselves feel better are delusional. No wonder why Leafs fans were voted as most annoying and most delusional. Whoever is the player you give up in the expansion draft is the player you lose, not the asset(s) to obtain said player LOL. Leafs fans are the worst I tell ya
