2019 Volvo XC40 - nice vehicle for anyone interested in a small crossover SUV. I have the subscription service through Volvo which is pretty good deal...

Moved to St. Louis about 10-11 months ago now. So of course had to put NYI license plate frames on my car and have NYI headrest covers on my backseats. Got to represent our boys out here as much as possible!

They probably can't see your Islanders trinkets with the glare off the big shiny Cup they are hauling around.. How was their parade ?

I am poor and going thru divorce 07 Ac TSX. had it since it was new when I was single, after my dumb ass BMW blew up on the Southern State ironically after game 4 of Isles/Sabres. My car has low milage cuz I work from home 3 days a week.. not even 100K

I did go to the parade. Wanted to check it out since I've never been to a championship parade and wanted to get a glimpse of the Cup (never seen it before). Def a fun experience and the very last block of the parade, my fiancé and I were standing watching and all of a sudden the Cup gets raised up about 10-15 feet away from us, so got to see it live and in person and took some good pictures. Have to say, it was a pretty surreal moment, Cup didn't look real and I was in awe of it for sure....def felt like a kid again for a second that used to pretend to win it in the street staring at that Cup, so I can only imagine how those players feel!!

Has anyone seen the info on the upcoming new Corvette? I know $59,000 (or so) is not cheap, but for a 500HP, mid-engine pretty-much-supercar....

Unfortunately, they're doing away with the manual transmission so I don't need to start scouring the sofa for loose change.

[seriously though, as much as I love driving I've always felt it's more enjoyable to drive a car with great handling but not a massive engine with mega-horsepower. What's the point on regular roads? It's more fun to try to squeeze more out of a car like a Miata or Subara BRZ than to hold back all the time in a Corvette, etc..]

I'm in this camp nowadays too. My next car will be slower than my current car in terms of straight-line performance, but more fun pretty much everywhere else. Too old to be measuring my D a quarter mile at a time.

Yeah, if I spent a lot of time on the LIE or other metro highways I wouldn't want a corvette ( or a big engine Challenger or Mustang). Those cars in stop and go traffic make a lot of nose with a jerky ride in stop and go conditions. Doesn't look like fun.

In the last 3 weeks purchased a 2017 Taurus sel awd with 4,000 miles . Took it to Florida and back already. Rides like a dream . I think leather may be all it's missing but I'm fine without it . The price was right , the deal was right so I bought it .Still had 20 months left on the factory 3/36. The sticker was 33K. KBB had it valued about 21-23K . We settled at 17,200 so I feel ok.
Also last week a 2019 Honda Civic Sport 4 door . Not the turbo. My son loves it . This is not your grandmas Honda anymore . Car is really nice and only 20k brand new plus the tax and a couple small fees. Florida tax is about 6.5%. A little side note is State Farm in Florida wanted 390 a month for his coverage and after shopping a bit we got the same exact coverage with Progressive for 221 a month.

My beloved 2015 Subaru Legacy got a nice addition yesterday....

My wife has the new CX-5. Thing is a downright beauty inside and out. Drives really well also.

Well I've had mine for six weeks now, and except for the sports cars I had when I was young, this is probably my favorite car. I've been driving CRVs and Foresters since the late 90's, but the ride and interior of the CX-5 is better than those. Still has to pass the winter test, which the CRVs and Foresters handled beautifully. They were great cars as well.

It took a good deal of research and bargain-hunting, but I finally joined the Mazda family by way of a 2016 MZ3 s Grand Touring 6MT. This gray boi rolled off the truck yesterday from Georgia.

Nice ride.

I need a new car badly. I'm leaking oil and coolant. The car was shuddering on the road the other day. It may be ready to implode.
Thanks! What are you driving now? This car replaces that Maxima in the third pic, whose engine is on its last legs due to ridiculous oil consumption. The past few months it has been chugging a quart of oil every 300mi or so. Time for retirement.

I have a 10 year old Audi A4 with 120k miles on it. It's right at that milage where things like the rear main seal and the head gasket need to be replaced. It's not worth it to sink $2k into the car to keep it drivable. The thing that stinks is that I only put like 2-3k miles a year on it now since I work from home, so buying a new car feels like a waste. It's why I've been putting it off.

Well you can relax, I'm pretty sure they're chinese owned and many of them are made in china

They are still solids cars if you have the money. Very comfortable, quiet, and safe with the tech you would expect at the price point. You could do worse.
