What can we do to get Keefe fired.

Only way Keefe gets fired is if they go on a 15 game losing streak. Do you realize how bad it would look on Shanny/Treliving if they fired Keefe only a few months after giving him a new contract extension (which hasn't even kicked in yet).

There is no saviour coming behind the bench, it has to start and end with the players and Treliving making roster improvements.

He has 200 more games than anyone else... Not the same.

Maurice doesn't have the most games coached and also does not have a great record.

Context is needed in both situations, I just laugh at people who think Maurice is good, their memory is one playoff run long.

Morons doing what morons do best.

So hard to believe Keefe still has a job. It's the same crap every year. The same team with the same problems.

Headed straight for the same results.

The Leafs have a 17-16 record. That's not a record of which to be proud. A loss tonight puts them at .500.

If the fans want Keefe fired the best thing that can happen is more vocal dissent in the arena.

People booing as loudly as possible. A few jersey's and waffles tossed on the ice. Maybe cheering when the other team scores will finally get the point across.

When dealing with morons you need to make your point crystal clear.

This is the weakest show of strength, I've seen in a long time. WOW! Kampft probably shouldn't have thrown the puck out front blindly but the CBJ player who intercepted the puck, took the puck behind the net, reset, then took off up ice. So basically Keefe is benching a guy for being the last guy for touching the puck before the opponent scores. So what if Kampft took a shot and the same thing happened? Do we still bench Kampft?

If you want to impact the game bench a guy who plays 13 min a game, thats going to make a massive difference. Keefe is not the brightest street light.

Maurice is third on the list for most games coached.

Keefe is about as sharp as a bowling ball.

Keefe has had, what, 5 seasons to implement a system and has failed.

They look so undisciplined, unstructured & sloppy. Way too many mistakes, miscues, showboating that leads to turnovers. He leans completely on the big four and with them carrying the team mostly covers up for the huge problems everywhere else.

They've been playing pond hockey for years and I'm just not sure who they could bring in that can a) implement a solid system (See the Bruins, Canes for two) and, most importantly, b) gets the stars to buy in.

I actually want them to go on a losing streak if it will get Keefe fired. Short term pain for long term gain.

Benching Kampf was a hilarious move

All we have to do is wait.. this team is going nowhere without some changes, whether they be Keefe or others

Also why so many drop passes? All three zones they do these drop passes. Who do they think they are fooling? What does it do?

It’s supposed to back the defenders off and let you gain the zone in possession with the trailer coming with speed.

I’m reality, after 5 years of that garbage, everyone knows the leafs are going to do it so they stand up at the line along with all the leafs who have to hold up onside after the drop .. and jam the whole thing up 8 times out of 10

Apparently, our Leaf players are doing all they can to get Keefe fired. Too bad Shanahan isn't doing a damned thing to right the ship. He needs to be FIRED too, and soon !!!
 
Fire him, he is done. I have somewhat defended him up until now, but not anymore. He has to go. The stunt he pulled on Kampf is a damn joke. It should be Marner sitting in the press box.
 
Kampf has been putrid all season long and should have been scratched weeks ago. Meanwhile the media barely commented about Timmins sitting for the decaying husk of Giordano.
