Just bought 3 new cds and uploaded them and will play them next time I hit the gym. 2 NWOBHM and 1 black metal. Have not heard them before and am excited to check them out.

Tygers of Pan Tang - Live At Wacken (w Jessie Cox their original singer)
Cloven Hoof - Dominator (have 2 of there's and like them)
Unanimated - Ancient God Of Evil

Kamelot seems a lot harder metal, maybe some McCauley Schenker Group a bit as well.
NO Iron Maiden vibe in the slightest. I am a huge Michael Schenker fan, he is far and away my all time favorite guitarist and I do not see that comparison either. In the thread of bad concert experiences I could mention the many times I went to see him and he no showed. Glad to see he is doing better. I saw him w UFO at the Amphitheater in Chicago where they recorded their live Strangers In The Night album and 40 plus years later that is still my all time favorite concert. Also saw him guest at the Scorpions "final" tour ever in Chicago, believe that was 2 or 3 tours ago for Scorpions.

Back on topic, I am not a big fan of the artsy prog metal bands to name off bands they remind me of but I would mention off the cuff Dream Theater they sound like.
