One thing I learned about the Del Vikings



One of the more interesting ways a group got formed. All the members were in the US military when they formed and that is why they swapped out members. Singers got transferred and other military personals joined and that is why at one point in time there were 3 different del vikings groups in the late 50 on your at different times

I'm a big fan of this style tbh and how those guitars sound, wish we got more of it but it faded away completely by the early-ish '10s. Even the bands that did it more often like Black Rebel Motorcycle Club stopped. Couple non-American bands that did it well.
