Ok so it's not the Cup, but it sure is nice :yo:

I can't take anyone hating on this team seriously. This was a hell of a season, the boys gave it their all in this game, we were a few posts short of a win in OT, etc. It is what it is.

Have to be proud of these guys.

There's one guy hating on the team and people who are hating on Richards and Nash, deservedly.

They are our two highest paid forwards. If they play even within the stratosphere of their contracts, we win the cup.

Nash played like a 3rd liner and don't get me started on Richards.

Girardi was awful this series, I think he was just gassed or playing hurt. He's good, but he's not better then Stralman. We literally have to do anything to keep him.

I don't give a **** if you trade Nash for a pick. Stralman must be kept. Those top 4 D HAVE to be kept.

I said it already, but I can't get over this.

3 OT losses. 3 times leading going into the 3rd. 2 times, horrible calls that led to goals that changed the whole game around.

So close. I'm so deflated.

Again, great season though.

Great season for the rangers... Don't think there is any team in the league that could overcome three huge blown calls that all lead to game tying/winning goals to win the cup.

Honestly, I don't think we can say Hank hasn't won anything anymore. While technically true, he played this series well enough to win. The team just sat back in too many 3rd periods and the refs were a joke. Just a joke robbed us of TWO wins.

I just can't help but think that with a few different bounces this would be us.

I'm still proud of this team, and I surprisingly don't feel too awful... just a little but not as bad as I expected.

It's a shame they couldn't pull one out for Hank though.

Thank you NYR, with all the retooling that needs to be done this offseason we will ice a very different team next year. The truth is this may have been Hank's best chance for a Cup. Boston will still be there and you know Pittsburgh will get the NHL's love. But the Kings have some decisions too, what to do with Gaborik and Mike Richards. They won't have as much depth, and to think they were one game from being swept in the first round.

A penalty that should have never even been called. Don't know how you can fault Zucc on that.

It's not the first time he has done that, it wasn't even the first time he did it this series. Embellishment or not he was tying to be sneaky, that's what happens when you play on the edge like that. Not chastising him, just think it was ill advised.

a big part of me agrees with this.

There far too many 'questionable' calls for a top level league

I mean refereeing something that moves at the speed of NHL hockey is really difficult, I probably can't call a good kids' soccer game. It only hurts when the bad calls are all in the same direction, which they pretty much were.

We lost our heads after Prust got away with his hit, we lost our heads after the King goal and we didn't kill the Zuccarello penalty. Ultimately, the boys all know that bad calls, even garbage calls, are part of the game, they go both ways, and we could have done more :(

I thought he had a chance at the Conn Smythe, but...guess not.
