If we let Stralman walk because we had to sign Girardi, this team will be destroyed.

Stralman was our 3rd best player these playoffs, behind Hank and McD.

Hold your heads up NYR fans. What a run. I feel your pain. I really do. Watching the Kings host the cup is bringing back then pain I felt not too long ago. :(

Disgusted by this league, but couldn't be more prouder of this team. There were maybe 4 games in all of the playoffs where I can question this team's effort. 3 OT games and 2 shouldn't have gotten there. This league is a joke, but this team is special. Thank you NY Rangers. I'm tearing up right now.

This. 100% this.

Agreed.

that Muzzin powerplay bogus call, pathetic...It was heartbreaking. Lundqvist and the team fought hard and it was such a great game but a pain that we could be the one to get one first in.

Just sucks...Oh well time to move on.
Great job by this Rangers team this year...

And yes. The Rangers had Game 2 stolen from them. That's a fact, but there's nothing we can do now.

I'll just always remember to boo Dan O'Halloran if he's ever reffing a game I go to. Piece of **** he is.

I feel bad for Lundqvist, the guy deserves the cup- he is THE best goalie in the world and I have no doubt in my mind anymore. We could have easily won in 5 games just like they did, these 2 teams are so close. We just didn't get the performances from our top guys to do it and they did.

Unfortunately, that's what separated this great team from the championship team.

I can't take anyone hating on this team seriously. This was a hell of a season, the boys gave it their all in this game, we were a few posts short of a win in OT, etc. It is what it is.

Have to be proud of these guys.

a big part of me agrees with this.

There far too many 'questionable' calls for a top level league

Should be all of you. Game 2, 3 goals were thanks to refs making boneheaded calls or a lack thereof.

3rd periods were the downfall. Bad calls hurt, sure, but the play in the 3rd periods were horrendous.

It sucks that the pp finally looked good tonight when we really needed it in that game 3 when they went like 0-7.

Them's the bounces. LA had the puck luck this series.

Somewhere, in one of the alternate universes, we just won the game tonight after being up 3-1 going into it.

If that hooking penalty on Zucc isn't called in the 3rd, we most likely win this game- that's what really hurts. 2nd game goalie interference goal doesn't help either smh.

Fantastic season. After a....uhm.. rocky start, its been a wild ride. Hats off to the guys for doing their best :)
