Simply didn’t happen. In fact their only sustained offense for any period of time was the PP to start the 3rd (which was the most embarrassing point of the game for the Devils — they had a chance if they killed that). They didn’t do very much all game, they didn’t “stop trying”.

I literally posted the screenshots...they didn't need to do much "all game" because the Devils gave them enough opportunity to lose the game before we even got halfway through.

This discounts the very real effect of momentum that happens throughout a game. Maybe we steamroll them if our shit ass goalie doesn’t immediately deflate the team with a softy after we take the lead?

We can’t properly move on start to get better until we at least remove this guy to backup the rest of this year and then expel him from the organization after this year when he’s no longer under contract.

Is Vanecek the guy that will help us become better? I’m not sure about that one, but I’m definitely positive it’s not Blackwood. He sucks.

And Ruff definitely needs to go as well. He’s pretty much a Frankenstein coaching project at this point, but I don’t really believe it will be too long before he’s canned if we don’t start winning.

Jonathan Toews is the most overrated player of this generation, as well as the most overrated captain and leader in maybe the history of hockey. I also don’t even think he should be a slam dunk for HOF. Definitely borderline. Better players have not gotten in.

Watch these goals...Besides the PP goal from Konecny in the 3rd...The Defense is so atrocious it's not funny, I mean it is comically bad.

Graves is literally going the wrong way and not covering any man or space on two of the goals.

Two Flyers goals, Frost and Allision are literally standing on the doorstep by themselves with no Devil anywhere near them...I mean ZERO players within even a stick length...For Real...Might as well been playing 5 on 3.

I did not at any point indicate that the Devils taking over the game at 4-1 was indicative of them being good, and if you read my posts ever, you'd know that I am well aware of score effects, and the notion that 'if we could just play like that while tied instead of while down 3' is nonsense.

Still, better teams also do better when they are down, of the top 10 teams in shots percentage while trailing, 9 made the playoffs, and only 1 of the bottom 10 made the playoffs.
