That 5 on 3 at the beginning killed us. Gave Miller alot of confidence. Nice to see Kadri shine, kid deserves it.

Not sure why it is always Kule's fault around here, I see 3 guys skating circles accomplishing very little. The 2nd line has been mediocre since 10-11, they are no longer sneaking up on teams.

Maybe if you actually watched him instead of waiting for Grabo to make one mistake then you'd understand. Kule has been a black hole offensively(finally showed some life in the 3rd) and has been dragging his line down with him. There was also his give-away that caused the 2nd GA. I don't want to hate on Kule, but he needs to get his head out of his ass!

If we had miller in net we'd have two shutouts. No offense to Scrivys, but elite goaltending is what we need. Desperately.

They played great but scoring 2 on Miller was always going to be tough.

Fleury is no Miller..I think we can score against Pittsburgh, it's making sure that our D holds up against Malkin, Crosby, Neal etc.

A lower finish = impact player.

I'm not a tanker, I'm pulling for the playoffs like any fan should, there's just a part of me that would rather see us either make it, or convincingly not, and add a leader up front.

Well the alternative to not developing your own hasn't worked. So i'm all for trying it this way for 10 more years anyway.

Yeah I get what you mean but all is not lost if we do end up 10th-12th. I look at us as in the same position as the Jays last year, some core pieces are here but we just need to play and build experience. Once the youngsters have secured their spots on the team, we'll need some veterans in here.
