He should come back as the towel boy. "Hey, you guys want a fresh towel to wipe you visors with? Here ya go!"I wouldn't mind Stoll coming back next season.
As an advisor. Bazinga!

I think Vermette wants like five to six million a year. That's too much for a third line center, I don't think you guys want him.I think the Kings' biggest needs this offseason are a top-line winger, third-line center, and second-pairing defenseman (if Sekera doesn't resign and Voynov doesn't come back). Nick Shore is a great kid, but I'd prefer he be a great fourth-line center while he's still on his entry-level deal. Our fourth line to end the season was pretty good.

I think we've got one-too-many third/fourth tweeners. King/Clifford/Nolan/Lewis/Andreoff...
Gaborik - Kopitar - Brown
Pearson - Carter - Toffoli
King - Vermette - Lewis
Clifford - Shore - Nolan
Muzzin - Doughty
Sekera - Voynov
McNabb - Martinez

Quick

That would be ideal.
I'm man enough to admit that I'm slightly concerned about our playoff chances now. Still mildly confident though
Quick question, not trying to start anything - but why was Sekera scratched? It was my impression he was doing well, especially since he was a highly sought after dman at the trade deadline.

No points from Gaborik, Williams, or Brown. No goals from Kopitar, Gaborik, Williams, Brown, Toffoli, or Carter. The top 5 goal scorers for the year, 0 goals on 53 shots in those 5 road games. Shore, Richards, and Lewis had as many points as Kopitar.
As the year played out, it was clear the road record was going to make or break the Kings. After going through NJ, NYR, and NYI with a 3-0 record, they were in a playoff spot.
Not sure if it would've mattered, but the Kings had total possession with 2 min to go, yet Quick was still in net. They waited until 1:06 after they lost control to get the extra skater out there. They never got the puck back. There was no reason why he didn't pull him early, and I swear it sounds like you can hear Quick hitting his stick on the ice trying to get his attention. This is the 2nd or 3rd time we've seen Sutter do this with the exact same results.

Given that the Kings allowed an EN in the next 15 seconds, and that they have routinely given up ENs pretty quickly, what motivation does Sutter have (really) to pull the goaltender with more than just a minute or so left in the game? Do the Kings EVER score with a 6-on-5?
Literally, the last time I can recall us doing so was in the 2013 playoffs against San Jose, with Voynov getting the tying goal.
Does anyone recall a more recent 6-on-5 winner in the last couple of minutes of the game?
Agreed. We seem to get scored on the second the opponent gets possession of the puck, so why bother pulling Quick when it's almost a gurantee it's going to allow a goal. I'm actually way more concerned with our inability to get empty net goals ourselves. It's ****ing baffling. We get hemmed in our zone for the rest of the game and if we do *somehow* get free, we can't get through the neutral zone.Given that the Kings allowed an EN in the next 15 seconds, and that they have routinely given up ENs pretty quickly, what motivation does Sutter have (really) to pull the goaltender with more than just a minute or so left in the game? I get what you're saying but it doesn't matter. This was our last gasp and you have to pull Quick sooner.
