"Hello! My name is Alex M! And I would like to tell you all about a hockey team!"Speaking as a former LDS guy, best of luck with that.

Today would be a perfect day for another Tempe garbage fire.
I don't think it is retired people.I think it is the class envy peopleIt’s where retired people move to. And we let them vote.
OMG is it actually on fire again??It has been.
Or were you not speaking metaphorically?
Because Mesa is also "Little Chicago"although.. the Cubs did manage to get Sloan Park built...on that site that had been a golf course, so....
That was the mistake the Coyotes made…assuming it was an easy win given the mayors, past and present, and TCC supported. Then they were badly outmaneuvered like a Rick Tocchet coached team and left dumbfounded when they lost….like Rick Tocchet.No. Was going to happen no matter what.
For me, it's more so the rejection after the Tempe City Council voted in favor of it 7-0.
If the people you elected want it, shouldn't you want it too? Especially after every single living Mayor/former Mayor of Tempe endorsed the project as well.
so you're saying it's perfect!Because Mesa is also "Little Chicago"
It’s not as bad. It shares borders with Chandler, Gilbert, Tempe, and Scottsdale. But it’s not ideal.Mesa is Glendale 2.0.
Tiny bit of hope that I think most of us think is a lie to save face since we aren't moving for at least a year. But there's a chance its true I guess idk.ok I have been at work all day ... did anything else happen ? Are we still jumping off the ledge ? Is there hope? Are we moving ?

I agree. They also, no doubt felt having Mayor and all of city council on board meant they wouldn’t need to pony up on the campaign. They probably thought it was such a good deal for Tempe that it would be a slam dunk. Underestimated the level of voter ignorance.
Which is why unless there is like some ownership stake involved for the tribe, I see no way of building an arena/district on Salt River land.
Luke Lapinski goes off.....

They're so f***ed.
#BoycottTempe y'all.
Luke Lapinski goes off.....
If you don't know by now, Brahm Resnick from 12 News has covered every aspect of the Coyotes ownership stuff since the beginning. These voting stats should is something the Coyotes should have accounted for at the start of their selling of the arena.
