Did the ball ever reach the goal line or the pylon?

His shoulder hit the pylon, but it's whether the ball did isn't it?

Or does the fact he hit the pylon mean he's out of bounds and contacted the ball. Kind of confusing.

They are claiming that because the ball was moving as he went out of bounds it is a fumble.

Problem is A. The ball never left his person. It didn't touch the field or sideline. He still had control as he was moving it to the other arm.

B. There is no conclusive angle that shows it clearly out before he hits the pylon. The call on the field was a TD. You need undisputed evidence to overturn a call and you can't tell on the replay.

The call on the field had to stand.

Everyone on NFL Todsy saying it is a TD.

He doesn't lose control, but even if you claim it there is not enough evidence to overturn the call on the field which was a TD.

He clearly losses the ball. Malcolm Butler stripped it. The patriots players all knew the rule that's why they shouting at the ref

Absolutely not. He still had the ball going out of bounds and there is nothing on the replays to say otherwise.
Yup. The ball essentially gets knocked from one arm to the other in the span of a half-second. To me, that's not losing control in the first place. Not to mention he pretty clearly has it as he goes to the ground/hits the pylon. It's an embarrassment of a call that only a true homer could defend.

There are different rules when it comes to the end zone.

I'm sure

Lol players shout at the refs a lot. Even when they are wrong.
Imagine if this happened to Gronk. Pats fans would of lost their mind and claimed the refs are out to get al Boston teams.

Apparently its only a fumble if you're crossing the goal line at the time, because McCown clearly bobbled the ball while being sacked on that last drive and it did not go down as a fumble. It's over analyzing via replay to an absurd extent. Not to mention it is not at ALL clear if he managed to "regain possession" before he hit the ground/pylon or not, so the play should have stood as called even if you want to micro-analyze "possession"
The ball was in his left arm and he didn't fully re establish control in his opposite arm until he was out of bounds. The transition from arm to arm shows a clear loss of possession.
