On replay, that Jets call actually looks correct to me. The Pats player knocked the ball loose and SJ was out of bounds by the time he reestablished control.

How exactly is that a fumble if the ball never hits the ground? The ball moves but he never lost control to where it hit the ground or the sideline. To extrapolate from that play that A) he fumbled and B) the ball went out of the endzone when he never lost complete control is the worst single replay reversal I've ever seen.

It's a fumble because he didn't have possession when he hit the pylon.
