Remember when the Fitzy Bills beat the pats like 12 years ago? Looking back, it was a case of a clearly inferior team beating a better one due to a bunch of stuff going right for the home team. Like Brady throwing 4 picks and a Drayton Florence pick six. Gronk dropping a TD. Fred Jackson luckily falling at the one yard line so they can kill clock and kick the game winning FG.

That’s what this loss feels like. Miami had a bunch of shit going right for them (Bills injuries, weather, Bills mistakes, etc…) and barely pulled out the win like the Fitzy Bills did years ago. I’m not worried.
Even that's not a great parakeet because a) They forced those turnovers and b) they gained 450 years of offense in that game. (Under 50 years less than NE)

The Bills out gained Miami today by more than 2:1 today on an equal number of possessions. Miami forced the one turnover they did get - it was all the other completely unforced errors I'm rueing.

Time difference and all couldn't catch the game (I need my sleep for monday mornings sorry), but considering the circumstances and all if there was a game to just take an L maybe this one? I guess the butt punt won't be as memey because Miami won so that sorta sucks.
Get healthy and prepare for the next 3 before the bye. Lots of teams including KC tripping up and #1 seed is still very much available.

I want to know who the independent doctor was who checked him out.

Also, I had the same reaction as Dorsey, perfect play call and McKenzie couldn't get out of bounds. Props to whoever put their hand over the camera at the end lol

He had to cut inside to avoid a tackle. He wasn't getting out of bounds. He should have gone down instead of trying so he didn't have to go as far to get to the opposite side of the field to line up to spike it.
I have a tough time believing the fastest guy on our team with a one step lead and already turned that direction can't sprint out of bounds with nobody near him except that defender. I'd 100% rather try a 61 yarder to win than have him cut it up for it to be a 58 yard try

Knew this loss was coming. Nothing you can do about it. But man, if Ed Oliver doesn't come out next week and makes it three missed games in a row, I'm gonna start to wonder about him. He fully practiced Friday so he must have been in real anguish to miss another huge game..one would assume. Not like he's in a contract year or anything...

Still frames show nothing. The guy he had to avoid came crashing in from off screen. Can't go out of bounds while going backwards or technically even laterally.

Edit: if he goes down or out there is still a 64 yard kick.

Dude I'm real sick of watching you question guys for missing games for injury. Is Oliver your new scapegoat now that Star's gone? For all you know the coaching/ training staff kept him out.

Still frame doesn't show the guy crashing in from the outside that made him cut in to avoid the tackle. He had no chance to get OB after that.

I still think he can make it out at the 45 if he runs straight

Both of those added screenshots aren't supporting your view. The corner overplayed the sideline and made him cut inside. He's literally shedding a tackle while the corner is further outside than he is.

And running OB laterally keeps the clock running. You have to be making forward progress when you go OB for the clock to stop.

The point is that the standings at the end of the season reflected the quality of the teams. Barring catastrophe, the Bills should be on top of Miami after 17 games.

We were depleted of our starters on both sides of the ball, and it still came down to the last few seconds. I aint worried. Heal up, and go on a run. All that matters is how we're playing going into the playoffs. Stay healthy!

What is with us and not being able to win 1 score games? Small sample size but it’s kinda weird.

Also feels like all the good injury luck of the past few seasons is coming due with interest.

Is 7 games really a small sample size for a team this good though. It's kind of crazy at this point of you ask me.

I'll say this as the last piece and be done since we will never agree, he was heading in the right direction, the guy tries to tackle him and slows him down, he throws a shoulder shake the db bites and then McKenzie cuts into the tackle, I think he makes it to the 45-46 just fine

We usually blow teams out.
If we shoot ourselves in the foot enough it's just enough points lost to lose by 1 score 🤷

Game makes me feel good that even when we’re in cap hell sometime in Allen’s future, the games will be close!

Is it though? Because I don't think it sounds crazy for a good team to win by a lot and (when they lose) only lose by a little.
