Buffalo Bills Week 4: Bills @ Ravens

I know Josh had 450 yards of total offense, but that was not a good game for him. Lots of dropped interceptions. He looked frantic.

Fg was blocked.
also threw the ball 63x a lot of QBs can put up 400+ yards in that position this was not an efficient game.

This was a self-own.

The Milano dropped pick-6

Davis can’t secure the TD catch

Bass missed FG

Allen doesn’t see a wide open singletary on third and goal and forces it to Diggs, pass broken up

McKenzie doesn’t get out of bounds

Can’t get a stop on third and 22… rushing 3 guys, really?

The Bills need to clean up their own mistakes.

Defense turned out to be just fine with half the starters injured

The mistakes will clean themselves up. Flukes and weather.

My biggest concern is the offensive line. Oof. RT is a huge issue, and there are more destructive LDEs to come. That's the #1 position I'd be looking for a deadline addition.

Dolphins aren't actually fish, they are mammals of the sea. So technically, squish da fish isn't correct. We shoulda known better. Now we're paying the price with an unnecessary loss.

Yes the defense played well overall, considering everything. A few game changing big plays slipped by them though, the Milano drop and the 3rd and 22 conversion. But holding them to 21 points is pretty damn good, especially when one of their drives started at the 5 after the fumble.

The offense piled up yards but couldn’t convert. They’re more to blame than the defense IMO.

Josh just said in his press conference that his hand is fine.

Like, "fine fine" or like "Tua's only half conscious but it is actually his lower back making him woozy" fine?

There is nothing logically to be upset about with this game! But that doesn’t change the fact it was frustrating as we STILL should have won despite the injuries and missed opportunities

One would think the frustration and now being 2nd in the division will drive them even more. It's not like teams have perfect seasons AND win it all. Now, it would just be nice if they would stop losing players to injury but that's not really in our control.

We’re gonna lose games! Almost nothing you can take from this freak game. BUT like you said, the team is going to be frustrated with this loss and they know they let one slip by. McDermott will have it under control

Squish da cetaceans!!!

Thinking we should tolerate a bit of poetic license here.

I think we really need one of Oliver/Phillips. Defense had a tough time consistently collapsing the pocket against Tua. But everything said and done...there's stuff to improve, they'll get to it, and we get Miami in our building later in the year. Not worried about the standings yet.

Plus KC lost to Indy which also keeps them in striking range.

The big picture is: focus on cleaning things up. Get healthy. Don't beat yourselves. Really there was too much sloppy play (especially from the offense) in the Rams game, at times (but much less) in the Titans game, and again here against Miami. They have to clean that up. They can get away with the sloppiness against most teams, but not all teams all the time.

Tough afternoon for the Buffalo roads out there

I want to know who the independent doctor was who checked him out.

Also, I had the same reaction as Dorsey, perfect play call and McKenzie couldn't get out of bounds. Props to whoever put their hand over the camera at the end lol
He had to cut inside to avoid a tackle. He wasn't getting out of bounds. He should have gone down instead of trying so he didn't have to go as far to get to the opposite side of the field to line up to spike it.

Remember when the Fitzy Bills beat the pats like 12 years ago? Looking back, it was a case of a clearly inferior team beating a better one due to a bunch of stuff going right for the home team. Like Brady throwing 4 picks and a Drayton Florence pick six. Gronk dropping a TD. Fred Jackson luckily falling at the one yard line so they can kill clock and kick the game winning FG.

That’s what this loss feels like. Miami had a bunch of shit going right for them (Bills injuries, weather, Bills mistakes, etc…) and barely pulled out the win like the Fitzy Bills did years ago. I’m not worried.
