Even if Vikings would somehow be open to trading Cousins anywhere close to this early, the Jets 1st and 2nd round picks this year are not tradeable as they’re tied up by the Rodgers trade.

Jets really can’t do much at QB

I think they can get around it with conditions. I believe that's what I read somewhere when the speculation first started. So they could trade a conditional 1st with the condition being that the Vikings only get the pick if it doesn't go to the Packers, which everyone already knows it won't since Rodgers is out for the season.

Unfortunately, it's all wishful thinking. Vikings aren't throwing in the towel this early and who knows if Kirk would even waive his NTC if they did want to.
