Also annoys me how no one on this team even shit-talks our opponents. Twice now in the past 20 games including playoffs we’ve had one guy on our side doing the bare minimum of engaging our opponents in a war of words (Schenn, Reaves) while the rest of the bench is quiet as church mice.

When Rielly crashed point into the boards in the playoffs the entire Lightning bench was screaming at him as he skated by. Maroon, Jeannot, Hagel, Paul, Bellemare, all those guys had something to say and then some. Meanwhile the only guy who could give it back to them was Schenn.

Why is Reaves the only guy who has anything to say to Marchand after the shit he pulled? Can’t stand the blank stares these guys have every time shit hits the fan. It’s like they’re on another planet.

What I've gotten confirmation on is that it doesn't matter who you bring in to add toughness, the balls have to come from the top guys: Tavares, Matthews, Marner, Nylander.

That's probably the softest, most timid top of a roster in the NHL. You cannot be all skill in the playoffs, not for 4 rounds at least...it'll eventually catch up to you.
