Yeah, that scheduling is absolutely ridiculous. How is that fair? We understand they want Princess Crosby to be on primetime but why should the Western Conference teams get penalized because of it?

@lakingsinsider: If Chicago wins: Saturday-Sunday on road; Tuesday-Thursday at home. Saturday 6/8 on road, Monday 6/10 at home, Wednesday 6/12 on road.

S let's root for Detroit, because starting off a series with a back to back on the road is cruel.

Couture, Pavelski, Thornton, Marleau and Boyle out there was about impossible to stop. Or was Burns on too? I don't know, I couldn't watch it. It was indeed a great series. Niemi did a great job as well.
 
Why doesn't the Eastern Conference finals start Thursday? Both Boston & Pittsburgh have had ample amounts of rest, it really isn't fair.

THANKS.... We will. What a series. The only teams I hate facing are the Sharks and Vancouver. And after Vancouver's implosion (Thanks to the Sharks) It may not even be the same Nucks team next year.

I for one have never thought the rivalry between the Ducks and Kings was a awesome as the rivalry between SJ and LA. I think it goes up several notches next season! It's not just the Dodgers and Giants anymore!

The way we've faired against Chicago in the past few years? Wouldn't be surprised if we're down 2-0 going back home. Honestly, we match up much better vs Detroit, Chicago's speed will kill us!
 
How can a team get up for two playoff games two nights in a row. Can't see it happening. The Hawks also helped us by adding Zeus. We match up far better.
 
Btw, can we talk about Kopitar on the faceoff circle today? So solid, that was huge for us.
 
Why would they do back to back? That sucks , who set that up? Why couldn't it be Friday -Sunday regardless...

Also thought Richards played a good defensive game and although I don't understand why at home, he had to go against Thornton, he held his own tonight. And Carter needs to pot some of the nice feeds leading to breakaways Richards is giving him.


So glad for Williams , another player the Flyers gave up on too soon. He seems to be such a leader, esp in the room. I love his pre and post game comments, just a smart player.
