Has anybody talked about just how impressive Penner was tonight? I mean, he was a beast on the puck. I don't think there was one shift where he touched the puck where he didn't look determined. Just awesome. Good Job Dustin! :handclap:

Congrats to the Kings and the fans. Most entertaining series I have watched since I became a Sharks fan and I thank you for that. Sorry about Stoll and hope he gets healthy soon. Quick is just a monster in net and he made spectacular saves. Honestly, I thought if the Sharks beat the Kings we would have gone on to win the cup and that's saying something. The Kings are just that good. Good luck for the rest of the playoffs. See you all next season.

See it's posts like this that make me hate making fun of the idiots on the main board, like the pixiedust guy who loves rat face.

Sorry for the tough loss, those of us who have been long time Kings fans know the feeling of losing tough game 7's to generational goaltenders.

I am ****ing excited.

I also just want to say SCREW YOU to the fans that didn't believe in Quick. You know who you are. Obviously there is a lot more hockey left to be played. But, this guy is it. He is everything this teams is and needs and the fact that some of you doubted him should be ashamed. That's all :D

We should be so proud of our team tonight.

Also, props to the poster who brought up Jdub before the game.

Going to be a hell of a decision to make once again on keeping him. On one hand, our cap is going to be so limited that we may not be able to get anyone better. On the other, poor regular season performances...

good work tonight, kids.

don't know whether the hawks will face you or not yet...but i hope we do.

for obvious reasons, my "cup winning" projection is the hawks (lol, no offense)..but if it's not us then i'm pretty sure it's you.

Quick has been ****ing outstanding. The offense is worrisome though, I can't see us continuing to advance if the offense doesn't start scoring more.

Yes! Demons exorcised :handclap:

Just saw the replay of Williams' 2nd--Man, Kopi froze the hell out of Niemi!

That was my first in person playoff game and we were sitting on the end where the Sharks scored all their goals.

There wasn't enough Jameson's at the ESPN End Zone to sooth my pain that night.

Always sweet to beat a team from NoCal, too.

Right there with you. That meltdown was the last playoff game I went to because it was expensive to get to AND expensive after with all the money I spent at LA live and the flat tire on my 1.5 hour drive home...I was super apprehensive to go to tonight's game, but this ending makes fo ra good story ;)

Just in case you're referring to me in regards to my post after the 0-2 start against the blues, I was implying that I thought DS would start Bernier in lieu of Quick. I believe I said "my money's on DS starting Bernier next game" or something to the effect. Like I said IF you're referring to me.

I am pretty sure that with any of the teams left, the Kings style will be more to their liking. Not that they win but I think the ice will be more open.

Vlasic played with hairline fracture in right foot (suffered Game 4). They froze it every game so he can play.

Let's face it, Kings are just are banged up but we won't know how badly until after their season

Hockey players are such warriors. What other sport does a guy play 3 games with a fractured foot?

And I wondered about kings injuries after the Blue series, how physical that was. I really give them credit, they seem to push through pain and endure.

Nah, I'm not. But, lets be glad he didn't.

Nothing personal, it's about the home ice. We really needed it in this series as only home teams won.

yeah..but you have a good chance of turning the hawks into road kill if you face them. you should still cheer for us to beat detroit. they're an ugly team and you should join w/ the hawks in wanting to give them the middle finger on their way out of the western conference.

...come on. no one cheers for detroit. that's just wrong :shakehead
