The Ducks are faster. The Kings grinding game should negate that, but unlike other teams the Ducks got depth to just sub people in and out. They won't be just grinded down to dust like every other team. DSP is fresh. Palmieri is fresh. Winnik is fresh. Vatanen is fresh. Gibson is fresh. They still got Etem, Rakell, Sbisa, Fistric, to sub in and play significant minutes as well. They won't get worn down. I think the Kings are feeling the grind!

McNabb will have to be on the team next year as his waivers kick in.

I think Brayden will surprise a lot of people if and when he gets his shot. I think he's ready for a full time spot in the NHL.

You will be the first person complaining when McNabb gets beat to the outside...

His foot speed needs work still, and his outlet pass as well.

Boy I sure hope they put Richards in the press box next game and either buy him out or trade him in June/July cause it sure is tiring continually reading about how ****** he is. I swear some of you guys who are prevalent here mention his play in 95 percent of your posts. Who would we ***** about if he wasn't our favourite kicking boy?

Lewis took advantage of a turnover, and Gaborik scored on the PP and then a deflection while standing in front of the net.

Regardless of what the lines are, the Kings need to do something to create turnovers, score on the PP, and get to the front of the net. Nothing that happened tonight was because of a magical combination of lines.

Pretty much....

Carter has been carrying Richards all season. The only reason Richards' stats look bad and not laughable is because Sutter tried to force the issue with him and Carter all year. I'm sure my buddy TG will be on here shortly to tell us all the trophies Richards won before his balls dropped or when he was in the prime of his career and all the stuff he does that doesn't show up on the scoresheet. But I've seen almost 100 games of this guy and he is completely through as a player, it's almost amazing to think this is a 29 year old former star player. This is our Jonathan Cheechoo. I'm glad most of you have finally opened your eyes and realize it.

Hey Buddy your bang on. I've been saying it all year to my old man. Tons of PP, playing with Carts...most his pts are not nice goals or tape to tape passes ... definitely Sutter did what he could to inflate MR's stats...and it didn't work.

You just never know which Kings team you're going to get every game, nay, every period.

I want them to win, but their lackadaisical and inconsistent play leaves no hope. We don't know which team shows up on Wednesday.

And the worst players on the team have mainly been the veterans.

Muzzin probably, even though he has been pretty darn good this whole playoff run.

Just like people ragging on Schultz who has carried his partner all over the ice...

Do or die next game. Kings have been pretty good with their back up against the wall so there's still hope. Give Williams some smelling salts and tell him we're playing SJ.

In this series, yes. Clifford's been fine in the series. I have no idea why he was scratched. If anyone should be a HS, it should be King.

They both suck though. It's sad that Cliffords potential has been shot down with all those concussions.

I know this sounds strange, but I feel, at the very worst, benching/any rifts between the club and King would turn the Los Angeles Kings into the NHL version of the Cleveland Browns and I HATE to see that happen to the Los Angeles Kings.

That is why this one is on DS. Nolan looked lost out there, and he was totally useless.

Still Sutter's Fault right ?

Players not responsible right ?

Now you're just being disingenuous. I already said more than once that putting the lines the way they should be wouldn't guarantee victory. But just maybe if Sutter had stuck with what was working instead of going back to giving the good old boys preferential treatment this loss would mean going back home up 3-2 in stead of down 3-2.

Oh, and Jeff "obviously hurt" Carter dominated in the 3rd period. Maybe this team is just content playing like ******* until the last possible moment? Seems to be...

He is a $6 million dollar player who has contributed zilch all year, has been on the ice for more goals against than any other forward and yet continues to find his way onto the 2nd line thus neutering one of the Kings most important players in Carter.

But I can see why it bothers you, you can't come on here and single me out in the 1 in 12 games Richards played well and refer to me as "ilk" like you did during the season. Now almost everyone else here who didn't used to be a Flyer fan sees how worthless he is.

McNabb will be on the roster to avoid waivers next year, but guys he is a work in progress still.

He couldn't crack Buffalo's blue-line full time, think about that for a sec.

His foot speed is slightly above Greene's, his outlet pass (first pass) needs work.

Taper you thoughts accordingly.

I am disappointed in Nolan, he had all those games to sit and evaluate his game and he came back as the same non-factor as he's been for months. What happened to the guy after the first half of the season? He was a physical terror and relentless on the forecheck.

Not that Nolan was the reason for the loss, the Kings have much bigger isses, but as a fan of his I'm sad.

We are passed moral victories like you guys complained about last two games.

Be consistent.

According to some pollsters here, Richards is worse than both Nolan and Clifford.

Some folks , won't point them out, wanted Nolan in for King or Clifford.

Well that happened, now they are blaming Sutter for putting Nolan in...

It's comical...
