WCSF Gm 5 ... too little too late

Are you really clinging to the belief that changing the lines wasn't a huge factor in losing? The Kings scored 0 goals and tonight scored 3.

I don't know how you can watch Mike Richards play hockey and come on here and say him on that line doesn't effect the entire team. Some guys were saying Carter was injured, well he was out there flying tonight, the only injury he may have is a sore back from carrying a 5'11 200 lb anchor.

Sutter has continually gone back to this piece of crap on the 2nd line to the detriment of the entire team, ofcourse people are going to blame Sutter everytime he does it.

I think adding two rookies wouldn't hurt at all honestly. You don't lose anything sitting Greene Clifford Nolan. At least there's a chance to gain something from rookies.

They played fine, didn't say they didn't.

They lost though, I thought we were passed morale victories.

Isn't that what everybody cried when the lines got shuffled last few games...

NO MORAL Victories ?

He was terrible, along with Greene and Muzzin.

Gotta love how Kings heavily outshot the Ducks again and come up short. Wasted opportunities coming back to bite them.

Rules of averages. You know that one or all of Muzzin, Greene, and Schultz are gonna **** up! Oh, and Voynov "fastest man in the AHL" is the slowest guy in the NHL! What happened to the guy?

This is one of the most depressing things. Get back in the lineup, playing only 7 minutes he should have been ****ing lighting people up with checks. Just like king, if he isn't going to hit get him the **** outta here. Entire bottom 6 is just trash. I'd rather see 6 rookies out there.
 
Kings have no answer for the Ducks. Have to play a perfect game 6. Honestly they should already be bounced. Can't help but think the series would be different with WM and RR. The sounds of the putting green are ringing in my ears.
 
The Ducks speed advantage is just keeping the Kings a step behind while the games are still in doubt. They're quicker to most pucks, they're seemingly in every passing lane, they're blocking so many shots.

The Kings have to start Game 6 like they're down a goal or two. Otherwise I'm guessing that game will look a lot like the last 3 games.

23 year old (at the time) signing a 6 year 25 million dollar deal might cause a bit of slacking in his off-season, it happens he's a kid.. I think Voynov will get back on his horse this off-season.
 
Sutter should have taken a time out, but it is what it is. Still think the Kings are going to win this series!
 
I also never want to see Greene in a King sweater again. Bods, McNabb, or Campbell would all be better options at this point.

I know Martinez had a ****** game, his worst of the playoffs, but I'm not gonna lose my mind over it when he has been our best defenseman behind Doughty this series.

Dude, give it a rest already. You simply refuse to admit that these lines were flat out better than the lines the last 2 games. How many goals did we score the last 2 games? 2 total, an avg of 1 a game. How many did we score with this lineup? Ya, they shortened the bench - too little too late. Are you really trying to suggest we didn't play better when they did? We did better after Sutter did so.

If the Dmen didn't make passes right to the Ducks tape we'd be in OT or possibly would've won this game.

It's going to be close no matter what the lines but if you can't see these lines are better than the sad lines the last 2 games it's just you being stubborn.

Here are some important stats:
Avg goals vs Ducks with this lineups: 3
Avg goals against us with this lineup: 2.3

Avg goals vs Ducks with Game 3-4 lineup: 1
Avg goals against with 3-4 lineup: 2.5

Ya, the lines surely make no difference. :shakehead
 
These peaks and valleys this year have taken so much out of me. It's hard to not be emotionally attached. With that said, re-sign Gaborik. To let him walk and keep some of the scrubs would be criminal.

I don't see why people are surprised by this

Nolan got benched for not hitting, then he couldn't get back in the lineup over Clifford....

Guys the writing was on the wall with Nolan down the stretch, he is not going to help(this series).

I even thought maybe a King/Richards/Nolan would spark something. But Nolan proved us all wrong.

Probably one of the worse games Nolan has played all year.
