Tired of this ****. Wednesday will be the first playoff game I've missed in three seasons. 6:30, my ass. ****ing television is part of the reason. I'm tired of trying to hustle downtown for these ridiculous start times.

Plus I see more of the same happening Wednesday that I saw last three games.

Gaborik...better resign him. That's all I got to say.

Skinner Kopitar Gaborik
Pearson Carter Toffoli
Brown Stoll Moller
Andreoff Shore Lewis

Muzzin Doughty
McNabb Regher
Martinez Gravel

Quick
Jones

Nolan 21st man.

seeya: buyout richards, let king go sign elsewhere, williams + voynov dealt.

Williams and Voynov to Carolina for Skinner. Sign Moller. Sign Gravel and have him
stay in LA all Summer and tell him he has a shot. 3rd line may actually produce more than 25 goals!

23 year old (at the time) signing a 6 year 25 million dollar deal might cause a bit of slacking in his off-season, it happens he's a kid.. I think Voynov will get back on his horse this off-season.

Don't even know why people are including Schultz in anything, The guy is carrying Slava.

Like on his back...

Yup, 7 minutes, -2 and 1 hit.

Lol. Good job Nolan.

Good job DS! I actually blame this one on DS. It was his dumb decision to have Nolan in the line up and was stupid enough to have Nolan out there with Greene on D. Those two cost one of the goal.

LOL, thats good about the anchor... true

Carter has been carrying Richards all season. The only reason Richards' stats look bad and not laughable is because Sutter tried to force the issue with him and Carter all year. I'm sure my buddy TG will be on here shortly to tell us all the trophies Richards won before his balls dropped or when he was in the prime of his career and all the stuff he does that doesn't show up on the scoresheet. But I've seen almost 100 games of this guy and he is completely through as a player, it's almost amazing to think this is a 29 year old former star player. This is our Jonathan Cheechoo. I'm glad most of you have finally opened your eyes and realize it.

Gaborik - Kopitar - Brown
Pearson - Carter - Toffoli
X - Vey - Williams
X - Stoll - Lewis

Clifford/King/Nolan no longer have a spot on this team. They can all be easily replaced by rookies or by a UFA willing to throw the body and chip in offensively. King HAS to be the biggest Girl Scout at 6'4 230 pounds. Richards isn't playing anywhere NEAR his price, as much as it would suck for Carter to lose his BFF, he needs to be traded for help on defense.

X - Doughty
Voynov - X
Martinez/Muzzin - X

I would be open to trading Voynov for the right package, and one of Martinez or Muzzin would have to go. Is Forbort ready? McNabb?

UUUGGGGHHHHH

even though we looked bad these last 3 games i want to keep making the playoffs. You make those trades and we are back in the dumpster

i do like skinner though

Lots of folks on this board wanted to see Nolan in the lineup.....

These games are coming down to bounces and the Ducks' speed. On their 4th goal, the puck took a weird hop allowing them to break out, and their speed took care of the rest. They are capitalizing more than the Kings, bottom line. I have to say overall this series has been great, pretty even overall. Both teams are taking turns carrying the play.

Schultz has been a really nice surprise, but the absence of RR and WM is really affecting our breakout. Neither Schultz nor Greene can make that quick breakout pass the other two seem to be able to do. And Voynov is channeling Randy Jones for some ridiculous reason. All three of them really need to work on getting the puck moving forward, because that's how you beat the Ducks. Get it out quickly, get it in, and forecheck.

Sutter should have taken a time out, but it is what it is. Still think the Kings are going to win this series!

Hopefully. That's a tall mountain to climb though. I'll have to stock up on the In n Out.

Once again, the Kings have come this far to give up SoCal to the Ducks!

To elaborate, the only way for the Kings to prove they're the Kings of SoCal is to win Games 6 & 7!

Hopefully. That's a tall mountain to climb though.

Lose 3, win 6, lose 3. If they win the next 6, they are in the SCF leading 1 game to none.

Lose the next 3, then only have to win the next 3.

Kings Logic. :dumbo:

McNabb will have to be on the team next year as his waivers kick in.

I think Brayden will surprise a lot of people if and when he gets his shot. I think he's ready for a full time spot in the NHL.

Dude, give it a rest already. You simply refuse to admit that these lines were flat out better than the lines the last 2 games. How many goals did we score the last 2 games? 2 total, an avg of 1 a game. How many did we score with this lineup? Ya, they shortened the bench - too little too late. Are you really trying to suggest we didn't play better when they did? We did better after Sutter did so.

If the Dmen didn't make passes right to the Ducks tape we'd be in OT or possibly would've won this game.

It's going to be close no matter what the lines but if you can't see these lines are better than the sad lines the last 2 games it's just you being stubborn.

Here are some important stats:
Avg goals vs Ducks with this lineups: 3
Avg goals against us with this lineup: 2.3

Avg goals vs Ducks with Game 3-4 lineup: 1
Avg goals against with 3-4 lineup: 2.5

Ya, the lines surely make no difference. :shakehead

Lewis took advantage of a turnover, and Gaborik scored on the PP and then a deflection while standing in front of the net.

Regardless of what the lines are, the Kings need to do something to create turnovers, score on the PP, and get to the front of the net. Nothing that happened tonight was because of a magical combination of lines.
