After losing the first two playoff games, the Kings went on a 6-0 run, and that is despite some of the top players on the team not performing up to their usual level of play. Let's put things into perspective, yes, this team hasn't been playing at it's best, but they have demonstrated their capability to turn it on and elevate their game when their backs are against the wall. They have to continue to play with that type of urgency and persistence and I think we'll see that from them in Game 4.

Exactly. That last game vs. the Blues was epic for that I think...the tenacity will be there imo. Game 3 was almost as must-win as it was for the Sharks and despite them controlling heavy parts of the game it took them PPs and overtime to overcome our injury-depleted lineup at home. We are still in the driver's seat...just something to remember after our mass-suicide post game 3

I, along with quite a few people, might have a meltdown if we lose the next game. I can't stomach losing a series to them again. I know it's not over if we lose next game, but we need to at least show some sort of offensive explosion from our top players. At least we know Quick will show up.

I, along with quite a few people, might have a meltdown if we lose the next game. I can't stomach losing a series to them again. I know it's not over if we lose next game, but we need to at least show some sort of offensive explosion from our top players. At least we know Quick will show up.

The problem for us right now an offensive explosion is 3 goals.
Thank goodness Quick only needs 2 to win most nights.

Just a guess but based on Penner' s post game comments, the Kings didn't feel Lewis's call should have been a penalty.

JQ was pissed because Lewis was called for interferece and Thorton wasn't on the Sharks first goal (just a guess) he skated after the ref on that one too.
I haven't read any comments from him on what he said, but I'm sure his favorite word was used liberally.

I expect the Sharks to win their home games. The last one was close, but they are strong at home, so we just have to take care of business at home and maybe try to steal one there. The X factor here is if Quick. He can steal a game on his own when he's on.
