I don't think it was a gift call, clear trip. Refs missed calls on both sides... I rather blame the piss poor performance in the first half for the loss.

Better team won tonight.

I agree they did but they missed the EXACT same trip last game on your empty net goal which possibly prevented a tie. I just think the refs let them play tonight and called an even game. Lots of missed regular season calls

Super pissed, but more at the Avs than anyone else (especially Rantanen, Landeskog, and Barrie). It's unbelievable how both of these teams have never start the game on time so far. Avs win this easy, but they couldn't get their head out of their ass in the 1st period and deserve to lose.

We turtled hard there at the end. Was ecstatic that bednar went 6 v 4. Rarely works out.

Kane likely gets the empty netter but interference shakes it, and he needs some mojo back.

Don't worry brother, Avs are one of the worst turtle teams in the league so we take the lead in game 4 and then we'll give you a good chance to come back in.

Haven't seen this last game but yeah it is so inconsistent, it's awful.

Good news for the Avs is that the played like complete trash for 2/3 of that game and still came close. Still lots of hockey to play, but game 4 Thursday might be a must win because I don't see them going back to SJ having lost 2 in a row and crawling back.

Sitting back cost the Sharks the lead. Then they immediately dominate, and regain it on Couture's goal. It was like flipping a switch.

Lesson learned, I hope. The Avs offense is too potent for dump, change, defend to work for long.

That’s why I think so many fans get so upset about the officiating. Because they will call something this time, but not next time.

Either call it every time or don’t call it at all.

He's been pretty terrible for the last couple of games, perhaps you know more but he also seems like someone to disappear for a couple of games similar to Pasarnak. He's got an insane shot so he doesn't need a lot of chances, but I thought Avs gave you lot some easy goals again especially the GWG.

MacKinnon had me nervous and had a feeling all those shots off the post we’re gonna bite us in the end. Feels like any time the Sharks have a near miss on a goal or make an unforced turnover in their zone it leads to a goal against. Happy to get out with a win.
