Thankfully the Kings have a lot more confidence in themselves than a lot of fans.

Love the avatar and the name!

If you had seen games 3 and 4 up close and personal like I did, you would lose confidence in your team too. They didn't come to play at all in game 3, and game 4 wasn't much better.

I'll take credit for startgin the Chicago posts. I basically said IF the Kings win, they'll get crushed by Chicago. I didn't mean to look past the Ducks. I know I have a big impact on the game and everything and looking past my opponent is rude and grounds for setting my team up for failure while I sit on the couch and watch.

You guys take yourselves too seriously sometimes. Sorry I mentioned a possibility. Here's another: if the Kings win the Cup this year, I'd like them to seriously consider the parade route going down Flower instead of Fig. Just my $0.02. Getting ahead of myself again.

I am nervous for Friday already. I wish they were playing tonight. Why not back to back I mean not like travel is an issue. Plus then whomever wins would get an extra day before the 3rd round starts Sunday AFTERNOON

[Insert playoff team] really miss [Insert star player] goals right now.

Applies to every playoff team in some capacity. Games get tighter the deeper you go.
No kidding.

You did notice Jeff has never been the same since the last 10 games of the regular season ? That after Doughty, Quick, Kopitar he is the most important Kings player and one of the best in the last two playoff seasons.

I had to re-read my first comment again. Perhaps I accidentally said Matt Greene was missing his scoring touch.

Carter took two spills last night where he absolutely labored to get up. I'm convinced this isn't a disappearing act. He HAS to be hurt. I've never seen him so lifeless and disengaged. Shying away from any sort of contact is becoming more and more obvious.

Agreed.
IF LA could have won it in 4/5 it would have benefitted a lot of players.

At least we broke the curse of Brian Engblom tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice effort and a huge win. Gotta go to Anaheim, play with the same intensity and score first.

GKG!!!

I really liked Clifford's play. With Nolan, Andreoff, Sabs and maybe even King all fighting for a similar spot next year, it will be interesting to see what happens.

He also way really slow to get up after being cleared out in front of the net once

In the last two games, I've seen Pearson take shifts were he absolutely CONTROLS the possession end of things. Then I look at the ice time and see 9:52 .....?! What gives? Give that kid more ice time!!!!

Let me tell you:

Xanax and tequila has really helped me through this playoff.

EDIT: Oh hippie lettuce too

Now this ^ is a funny post.
:handclap:

Don't they call that drink (xanax + Tequila) a Happy Ending? I thought that there was some drink that was Tequila and Xanax or something like that called something.

I would call that a light lunch but then..........
:sarcasm:

I keed.

Yep, he was slow to get up. He definetly looks hurt.

I have a strong feeling that if the Kings don't bury at least one power play goal on Friday that they'll lose the game. The power play needs to get it's **** together, take a shower, and move out of it's parent's basement. Guy's a loser.

Did you also see the shift where he turned it over at our blue line and the Ducks scored their only goal of the game? That's what gives...

Yeah it really will probably come down to special teams (especially the way the refs are calling it). I'm not complaining about the refs saying they favor the Ducks but they should just swallow their whistles. The Pits-Smelley "board" was not a board nor a penalty. The phantom slash to the hands by Doughty was ridiculous. That was happening every 30 seconds, why are they choosing to call it arbitrarily? Just stay out the game, refs. There was even a "board" on a Kings player that looked worse than the Pits-Smelley "board" but they don't call it.

The bottom line, the Kings need to keep the Ducks off the board on the PP and they need to score a goal on the PP and they'll probably win the series.

How can they score a PP goal if the refs should just swallow their whistles.

He meant calling a ticky tacky penalty that happens 30 times a game. Which the refs have been doing. If you're going to call that, call it every time or don't call it at all. I prefer the latter.

"It’s great that we have that ability to dig our own grave and climb out of it, but we’ve got one game to take care of here and that’s our focus. From then on, we need to try to not put ourselves behind the eight-ball.â€

No it's totally great giving us all heart attacks.
