Just took a peak at the Hawks board and there is a poll about which team they rather play against.

40 said Kings
9 said Ducks

No surprise.

I polled a few Kings fans at the game tonight on who they want to play in the next round.

40 said Blackhawks

I'm with the majority.

Nope. I watched all their games. They got outplayed often. And their stars just went full clutch and bailed them out...

Not the same Hawks as last year (not surprised). Crawford is really saving their bacon too.

Oh, is THAT all? Kinda like when Kane eliminated our ***** last year practically single-handed?

They are 6-0 at home in the playoffs, they have never lost a playoff series under Queneville where they had home ice, they get home ice against the Kings who have 1 win in their last 9 games in Chicago including a 5 game series loss last year, and the Kings would have to fly across the country and play about 40 hours after winning a game 7 against the Ducks.

Ummmm, ofcourse they want the Kings, it's not an insult against the Kings

I honestly don't have much hope for a series against the Hawks, I think they'll probably smoke the Kings, I just wanna beat the Ducks.

You obviously don't remember how we were playing. Kopitar going FULL Casper. Our best players weren't good. We are a lot better this year than last year.

And they are playing worse than last year.

Lol take a deep breath.

Srsly. We haven't even won this series yet and the usual suspects are conceding the WCF to the Blackhawks :shakehead

I'm not conceding anything,I was just replying to the guy who posted the poll results of who Chicago would want to play and why the results are that way, not only is it past on ice results but logistics also. I think the Kings are actually more equipped to beat the Hawks than they ever have because this Kings lineup has much more speed and skill than any other Kings team in recent memory. Teams have to game plan and account for a guy like Gaborik, he is a game changer on the wing that the Kings didn't have in the 2013 WCF.

Obviously the Kings have another big game they must win on Friday, but I don't think it's ridiculous to discuss a potential opponent in the next series.

After Game 2 we were getting ready for Chicago. After Games 4 and 5 we were getting ready for the offseason. After game 6 we are getting ready for Chicago, lol. Peaks and valleys, man. Peaks and valleys.

My heart can't take this.

Comparing the Hawks and Kings to this year / last = thinking ahead. Lol nice reading comprehension.

I honestly don't care about anything other than beating the ducks. Just beat these guys so we don't have to hear about it forever. I hope that by game's end Friday we'll be looking back on the great career Selanne once had.

You guys should no that what happened in the past and regular season should have no bearing on what's happening now. The way the games are played are different, more intense, more physical, and look at the scores of all the playoff games, they're all pretty damn closely contested.

If we took regular season success and head-to-head records into consideration, then the Kings wouldn't still be alive in the playoffs.

Well said, win or lose - be it by the Ducks or the Kings, a chapter of a future HHOFer is closed. do I want the Ducks to win? Of course, but if they lose - A) I would rather it be to the Kings than the Dallas Stars, or the San Jose Sharks. B) His last game ever is at the Honda Center, and C) it will be the end of a fantastic series, one that neither side can be mad about losing - very close and clean games.

Much respect to Teemu as a man and as a player.

Got a call last night during the game. I actually welcomed it. The stress of watching the Kings fight to maintain the lead...
