You don't start doing this kinda crap in the playoffs. That's season motivational crap. Every game is important in the playoffs. You can't just sit your top talent to make a point to them.

Couldn't agree more. He's trying too hard to get Richards going, rather than focusing on winning the ****in game.

Our team was all good before the lines got changed. They were good before Sutter went full Pejorative Slur for no reason. It threw everyone off. This starts with coaching and end with coaching.

Are you serious?

In the first two games Kopitar and Gaborik were the main reasons the Kings won, scoring clutch goals and making plays. Then Sutter gets back home and runs the squad like an in-house mite team giving everyone the same amount of ice time, then for Game 4 he goes back to the garbage Bromance Duo which hasn't done squat all year except allow goal after goal after goal, they get owned by the Ducks 4th line early in the game and then despite having the last change they end up out there against Getzlaf and the puck ends up in our net.
 
I think I am going to take off this game day t- shirt I had been using since the Kings won Game 4 versus SJ. The wife will be mighty happy about this. I'll admit, it is starting to smell pungent from the pit sauce.
 
Richards and Carter together failed in the. San Jose series not sure why he thinks things will change.
 
Gotta wonder if the Kings have another gear to go to against the Ducks like they did against the Sharks.

Not gonna pull this one out if the keep getting one and done.

He's not making a point. Kopitar and Gaborik aren't giving the effort the Kings need out of them. When they are out there, are they doing anything in the last 4 periods? Great, Richards and Clifford are terrible. It shows what Kopitar and Gaborik aren't doing. Not that anyone has really played well.

Anaheim has been able to exploit our D with their forechecking in ways San Jose couldn't, or didn't. Doughty's been neutered. Voynov was always up and down, so no surprise there.

It's failed all season, but Sutter keeps trying to force it, he seems to think if Richards has a good game on the 4th line that the 2010 Mike Richards is suddenly going to re-appear.

How many times since the original demotion to the 4th line has Richards been tried on the 2nd line with Carter only to fail miserably and end up back on the 4th line? Has to be atleast 3-4 times it's happened.

Why did he change the lines so drastically? Has there been any quotes or hints as to why?
 
Wait guys, I think I get it. Judging by the concession lines, this is an AEG ploy to make us drink heavily as well as get another home game in revenue. Can't blame sutter, ownership has tied his hands if he knows what side his bread is buttered on.
