Put the lines back together. All this switching is killing our ability to work as a team.

Losing Mitchell and Regehr is starting to show issues.
 
I have defended Sutter on this board, but you know what, if the Kings lose this series it falls squarely on his shoulders. I have been a fan of this team for over 20 years and I have never been more perplexed by coaching decisions as I have with these two games. The team wins 6 games in a row, Sutter decides to play Clifford as much as Gaborik and Richards as much as Kopitar and then as expected when the team loses he blows up the lines that had been working the previous six games before his stupidity kicked in.

This is just awful awful awful roster management, and everyone could see it coming a mile away.
 
Richards in the top 6 hasn't worked all year, but hey lets keep trying it in the playoffs none the less!

I don't get what changed. They look pathetic out there.
 
Wow this is just a continuation of the last game. Ducks absolutely outplaying the Kings and blocking up the middle.
 
Ducks are just quicker to pucks. They get a stick on almost every pass the Kings try to make. The Kings are just slapping at pucks. Not moving their feet.
 
The tide of the game turned when the Kings did jack squat on their two PP chances. Gibson only had one tough save to make, and the Kings are not attacking the net. Only like to look somewhat decent out of that period was the Stoll line.
 
Little early yet but looking like a roll-over to me. Why a team cannot be better prepared to play a play-off game at home, after losing the one previous, is beyond me.

Seriously ****ing top to bottom the last two games everything from the coaching down to the fourth liners has been absolute trash.

If doughty is gonna play the rest of the game like he did the first period combined with our injuries on d then we are done.

Maybe staying in Southern California is bad. These guys look too relaxed.

I'd consider leaving if I wouldn't have dumped hundreds of dollars into the last two ****show games. This effort is disgusting.

Having those two guys allowed Sutter not have to worry matching lines. Now Sutter needs to do his homework and his dung together

Richards has zero business being on any line other than the 4th line, it's the same old story with Darryl. Richards plays like garbage for stretches and ends up on the fourth line, he plays very well on the 4th line because he is comfortable down there and boom, Sutter moves him right back to the 2nd line where he has been absolutely destroyed all season in the defensive zone. It's the same crap over and over again, just keep him on the 4th line where he isn't a liability.

Sutter is a ****ing idiot, why change the line up?

Makes no sense. BB says Kopitars line dominated Getzlafs and he stops matching them up? Wtf.

And Richards doesn't even know how to play defense. He's just standing there.


Sutter is ****ing this team over.

Agreed. And get ready for two periods of five ducks clogging the neutral zone getting ready to counterattack.

Did sutter put some money on the ducks?

The top players on the Kings aren't giving Sutter a reason to play them more. Where is Gaborik? Where is Kopitar? Maybe they should get pissed that Clifford and Richards are playing over them. Both of them are floating around with the rest of the team.
