Better team lost again!!! Can't wait to read the main boards.

Gaborik!!!! HAHHAHA! Frattin and 2 2nds... not bad. (2nd 2nd was a condition from wining first round)

Best part of Hayward announcing games is watching him do post game interviews after the loss.

Schultz is a beast!!! Ok not really, but he's solid and didn't **** anything up that wound up in his net.

Perry 0 points in series yet.

0-2 is so much better then 3-0

This is exactly what i told my best friend last night. I can handle Hayward doing the color on the games...hes hasnt been that bad actually but i love watching him have to do the post game interview. You can see how miserable he is and watching him talk to Quick last night was really one of the highlights. Love seeing that FML look in his eyes...

The REAL test will be if we can do that to Kane & Toews....

I don't know about the stats, but Kopitar seems to just suck vs. Toews. He's agile/explosive in a way that seems to give kopi fits. But maybe it'll be a little bit different with a more dynamic top-6.

It's a little premature. The Kings had one of their worst possession games all season last night by essentially going in to prevent D mode for 40 minutes of the game. It won the game primarily because the Ducks stupidly convinced themselves to play a perimeter game. Good on Sutter for adjusting, but I would have liked to see a bit more (a lot more) attack from the Kings than we saw last night.

Boudreau is not impressing me at all in this series - showing shades of what's gotten him into coaching trouble in the past. He had Getzlaf and Perry out for maybe 20 seconds of the last 4 minutes of the game. Ran with 1D and 4F for a while the last 3 or so minutes, so they were playing a way they weren't accustomed to. I understand trying to be creative, but when you need a goal with 4 minutes to go, you get Getzlaf and Perry together on the ice as much as possible.

I were Boudreau I'd be very concerned. They outplayed the Kings in game 1, outpossessed them hugely in game 2, had home ice, had last change, and lost both games. I'm pretty sure we saw the Ducks best effort from an attack perspective in game 1 and a possession perspective in game 2 - not good enough. Now the Kings will get the matchups they want for the next 2 games.

I felt this series would go 6, but as others have noted, for the Kings to have a prayer vs. Chicago it really needs to go no more than 5. They are VERY banged up at the moment.

Agreed, this is all coaching. Adapting the game plan to the new D. Changing on the fly--how often have we seen the Kings play prevent D? Hardly ever. I don't think the Ducks outplayed as as much as the stats say, lots of that was prevent D and score effects. And I don't mean that to take away from them, but we played literally our second-worst possession game all year--part of that is the opponent, part of that is game plan.

Regardless, they're a dangerous team, and judging by post-game quotes, they are pissed and ready to mouthpunch us. Quick better be ready for some net crashing. They're gonna try to run us out of the building. We're going to need a better pushback because if they steal game 3 it's gonna build them some momentum.

Anybody else notice the beautiful play by Carter on the 2nd goal to widen his stance and not try to stop the puck going back to Martinez?

It was glorious!

I don't know how you can tell anything from that video. I never saw any girl or anything else for that matter.

By the way, who are these clowns that whip out their phone and start recording whenever something like this happens? Really, that's your first instinct? :shakehead

Yeah, those people have some real life-priority issues.

Bet he calls the Kings, the Queens.

I've seen that bieber picture floating around. What's with the eggs? Am I missing something? Also, I know the ducks fans don't care, but as someone pointed out he wears team apparel for any team he's visiting/watching.

Oh, he's that guy that gets paid to pump up the crowd? Certainly worked with all the "Go Kings Go!" chants ;)

I've seen that photo on here. And I have no idea what the eggs mean. Or why they picked Bieber. The guy wear every sports hat...

He was caught egging a neighbors house.

Sad to admit it but when I was a kid (before I started thinking on my own) I had a jean jacket that looked familiar. I never was an Anaheim Duck fan, but I liked the movies as a kid.
Also liked the cartoon.

Always a Kings fan, but with the movies and the hype of the new team, I admit I somehow acquired a ducks hoodie. Not proud of that. I always had a soft spot for Kariya though, since I was half-asian like him and he made it to the nhl. It was pretty inspiring for me to see that.

Ah thanks. I guess that makes sense...? maybe?

But you didn't wear yellow shoes, a DOPE hat, hold your pants up, or have an owl tattoo. Did you?

When it was clear the Blues were not bringing him back I thought he would look good on our LW. However I was truly holding on to his past performance and he probably stepped away at the right time (maybe even too late)
