Yeah none of the regulars know hockey, but it's going to be like that everywhere in the US.
The best hockey talk in the States I've heard is here. Detroit never had anything, Ohio sometimes doesn't even have their own stations, Boston never really did either.
A lot of it won't be covered until the playoffs otherwise it's put to the side, here you'd actually get segments on the HIGH SCHOOL GAME on "the" major station in the Twin Cities. No way that happens in any other market in the country. So whilst people are unhappy, it's still a fringe sport compared to the monstrosity that is the NFL, that's always going to be the talker.
In Detroit they'd talk about the Lions the entire time when the Red Wings were the Yankees of the sport....yet it was all Lions terrible football.

Watching him and knowing I have and have worn his 2013 World Championships game worn sweater makes me feel a bit bad inside, but it was at least for 'murica, so I can put it aside somewhat.
