Praying to the hockey gods that Greene is healthy and ready to play on Monday. Get Martinez back with Greene, Scuderi with Voynov and Regehr with Doughty. Our blood pressures would be a lot lower not having to watch Muzzin (or Ellerby) skate another shift in the playoffs.

This is such a fun series. LA got the bounce tonight. Both teams playing well. The Blues ability to miss open nets is uncanny. Drug companies that sell blood pressure medicine are the real winners in this series.

He's gotta be close or he wouldn't be practicing. We would be a lot better off if we had 5 of our 6 D from last season in the lineup.

Last I read from the not-Rich-Hammond guy was that Sutter was saying ideally he would get 10 games before being really ready and obviously that won't happen. He probably tried to go too hard too fast and had a minor setback. Get him up to game speed and rest and he should be good. Go back to last year's d with Regehr in for Mitchell and I'll be happy.

Guys wasn't Amart good though? Compared to Muffin and Ellerby? I thought he was solid.

Martinez looked solid tonight. I miss having him, I don't know why he was a healthy scratch in the first place. The guy never fully recovered from his injury but he's better than Muzzin and Ellerby (imo). Must suck for him. Hopefully Greene is good to go on Monday, we need that kind of toughness.

Muzzin has turned the puck over so much, wow.

Mitchell left a huge hole in our D, We seem to need a bit more nasty back there too. Hopefully greenes somewhere near game speed when he comes back.

#LAKings J. Williams & Dustin Brown both attributed the comroderidty in the room as the reason for never losing faith, being loose this am.

#lakings Justin Williams with simple answer on why he's played so well in this series - 'This is my favorite time of year.'

Oh Stick. Someone give this man an "A"

Please get Toffoli in there...we need offensive talent. King had 10 pts in 47 games.
Toffoli had 5 pts in 10 games...equates to to 24 pts in 47 games...2.5 King's total!! Both of Toffoli's goals were goal scorer's goals as well...and a late, game tying goal vs the Black Hawks.

Since DS won't do this, at least get Penner up with Richard and Carter. He would create more room for both of them.

Not sure Toffoli could handle the style being played.

Toffoli is already not a good fore-checker, and the Kings lack offensive zone time. Toffoli is not going to increase that.

The Kings would have better Luck bringing up Vey or Andy.

Pearson is banged up , so I doubt the Kings would look at him.

Hopefully Martinez and Greene are both playing next game with Muzzin and Ellerby out

I know we're only talking about this series, but what does this mean? Will he have to be traded? Or will we have to be patient and hope he develops his fore-checking skills?

It is kind of weird that he hasn't gotten one. Even when they needed two replacements this year, they gave it to Stoll. Maybe he just doesn't want it.

Ellerby and Martinez were good. The problem for Ellerby is that Greene coming back takes him out. But he was a lot better in 2 & 3 than he was in Game #1, where he was brutal. Martinez has a very high hockey IQ and that was evident all game. He knows when to skate it out, join the rush, when to chip it and where to chip it.

Adater, LeBrun, and Lisa all believe that that was the Kings last gasp win, they'll lose in game 4.

I think that was the Kings' last gasp win. Now they get beat in Game 4. Team can't score, less passion

Kind of agree, but yah never know.

Toffoli has to develop those skills, His body has to grow too.

Lombardi already commented on how Toffoli is not really in shape(most kids aren't).

Honestly Toffoli is probably still two years away from making a serious impact, these kids are young.

The Blues have scored one more goal than the Kings. A freebie from Quick. If we can't score they're just as bad. The team played with a ton of passion so those three are incorrect IMO.

Even if we had a perfectly healthy Mitchell and Greene and the same 6 defensemen
playing as they all were last year right now, doesn't make a difference if you score 1 goal every game (1 from a defenseman) and have an abysmal power play.

Since Kopitar is hurt, guys like Lewis, Stoll, Penner and King must score some goals.

Agree with you there. One team is playing without passion, bad D, and great goaltending. While the other team is busting their ass, and has only one more goal and that was a gift from Quick. Anything can happen.

I'm cutting Kopi some slack now, he's obviously injured. A-Mart should replace Muzzin the next game, while hopefully Nolan has learned not to take dumb penalties and make costly turnovers. I wouldn't mind Toffoli getting a look either....

Our team is playing with passion but there's really one notable example at this point who is not playing with passion. All these other guys are working hard, we've seen Carter throw hits, Richards tonight playing hard, Brown and Williams busting their *****. All the D doing their best too.

You'd think the Blues are vastly outplaying the Kings or something. The Blues have scored 4 goals and the Kings have scored 3. One of them went off a guy's skate, another was off a idiotic bungled clearance on the PK and another on Quick playing the puck poorly. The Kings GAVE them Game 1 on a platter and the Blues took it.

Those people seriously get paid to write that stuff. Anyone could win these games, they're evenly matched squads.

But it does
You tend to score more when you have control of the puck and are not scrambling in your own zone.
Ellerby and Muzzin and to a lesser extent RR44 tend to keep the play in the Kings end and when they get it out is is for a line change with little up the ice pressure.
