I'm not either and it doesn't make you a debbie downer for it. 3 goals in 3 games is sad. 3 straight games with too many men calls is pathetic. Offsides and icings multiple times on the PP. This team is playing very poor fundamental hockey and top guys like Kopi and Richards are sucking.

I think this victory is less of a "Yay! We won!" and more of a "Jesus ****ing Christ, we won..." type victory if that makes any sense. That too many men on the ice call pissed me off to no end. I mean it was bad enough that they did it once but for 3 shifts in a row. Where was the coaching staff to reel these guys in and make sure the right number of guys could get on the ice?

Those happen because of fatigue, guys are too slow to get off the ice.

There is not a goaltender in the world I would rather have in a big game than Quick.

He proves it time and time again.

He is the Kings franchise player.

Yes. No doubt about it.

This series is going to take 10 years off of my life. Holy **** that whole game was a struggle. Glad to win, but we need to play better. There's no way Quickie can survive this for four more games.

I also agree with the poster who said Kopitar's hurt. It was obvious (to me at least) that something was wrong.

Yes he can. I believe in that guy. The only thing he can't do for this team is score goals.

this is one of those series where you just don't look at how good/bad you played in the previous game. It's a 2-1 series in favor of St. Louis. Who cares if they've scored 3 goals in those 3 games. Focus on scoring in the next game.

By the way, as a side note, whoever plays the victor of this series in the next round will be licking their chops at the chance to play the winner. Whoever wins this series is going to be so gassed by the end of it.

All these games need are a few shifts where Carter can get some room.

I'm not sure if the Kings are going to be gassed. It looks like to me that they are not fully using their energy.

Or they are very tired. You be the judge

Also, this isn't someone I've seen anyone say yet, but Brown just did not have a good game.

Quick was awesome and stole this game, period.

These TIGHT defensive battles are tough to watch.

Kings need to obviously score. Where are Brown, Kopitar, Carter and Richards, etc??

The only goal tonight went thru a 6 - 8 player screen and somehow found the corner.

Boston looked like they were dead every series of their Cup run. We shouldn't assume that the Kings would have nothing left if they did happen to get through, in my opinion they look tired because the Blues are a damn good hockey club and nobody is getting room to skate. First things first though, beating the Blues is the only priority.

Not there, but here
Williams was a beast tonight. Penner is better than king and needs to play with carter and Richards.

Oh, I'm with you. Before the game when I saw that King was set for 2nd line with Carter and Richards, I just had to shake my head in disbelief. Mr. Dependable (JW) DD, Penner and Quick showed up for the game and the rest were there to watch, it looked like.

Please get Toffoli in there...we need offensive talent. King had 10 pts in 47 games.
Toffoli had 5 pts in 10 games...equates to to 24 pts in 47 games...2.5 King's total!! Both of Toffoli's goals were goal scorer's goals as well...and a late, game tying goal vs the Black Hawks.

Since DS won't do this, at least get Penner up with Richard and Carter. He would create more room for both of them.

Ah yes, but just think the memories Kopi now has of going home and playing with his brother. Just because he got hurt and it's cost him his playing ability this year....we should be upset at him? damn right!!

Toffoli would get killed out there. Reaves hitting him in the corner, boom, end of his season, concussion or shoulder rehab. This is not a series for kids, it's one for men. That's why Muzzin looks so bad, he can't handle it.

Richards has been on the ice for all three goals and hasn't been on the ice for any of the blues goals. He hasn't been spectacular but he's still generating offense. Kopitar is obviously hurt. He doesn't look right and he looks slow. Probably the knee.

They do need to knock it off with the mental lapses. Passing the puck in front of the net, offsides, icings, penalties, obviously need to stop that. Plus they keep playing like this and Quick won't just need to be Jonathan Quick but Dominik Hasek to win the series. They need more offense. Like I said in the GDT, more low shots looking for rebounds rather than trying to pick the corners. Need guys stationed in front of the net.

It's a win and once again awesome jobs by Williams and Quick. Game saving performances. Honestly, this is Kings team I expected to see in last year's playoffs. I expected to this playoff team to be more like last year's playoff team. Bizzaro world.

Any news on greener, he's sorely missed
