the first two games were so close and could of went either way.

So Kings are gonna wake up and take the next two at home with momentum (not just one win) or their done. End of story.

Man some of you guys are going way overboard. You talk about ditching guys like King, Ellerby, and Muzzin when the reason we aren't winning is because of our 5, 6, 7 million dollar guys not playing great. It's unbelievable.

Could anyone else just feel that the Blues were going to score before an OT or was it just me?

Trying to stay optimistic but just don't see it this year. So hard to repeat nowadays! Still happy I lived to see our first cup. Odds are against us but oh well. At least get one win. G'night folks!

Anyone get a look at the st louis 1st goal? I think it was offsides but oh well.

The Kings looked good tonight, people. I think many of you are overreacting. It sucks to lose but this team hasn't played a bad game at Staples Center in a looooong time.

Maybe if the Kings could cash in on a couple powerplays and muster more than ONE goal, Quick wouldn't be torn apart. He played a ****ing fantastic game.

Bernier starting? Puh-lease.

Same thing happened to previous champs; they lose their drive and get kicked out of the first round. Deano has his work cut out in the summer.

You're right, if this is the new Anze Kopitar from now on I want him GONE, ASAP.

No idea what is going through Stoll's head, how you end up caught up the ice in that situation is amazing. Stoll had had a wonderful year, but lack of game sense is always going to be a weakness in his game. A more responsible defensive center reads that play and is a 3rd man back.

But that is just one play, the absolute offensive no-shows from Kopitar and Richards have doomed this team. Been saying it all year we needed a re-enforcement up front badly, much more than we needed Robyn Regehr.

Hopefully this team can trade JB to someone for a younger left winger (20-23) who can step in right away and contribute.

Did you guys see the Kings beating Detroit in 2001?

This series has been extremely tight, there's no way it's over right now. If you guys want to tuck tail that's fine with me, but I thought we all knew better, and were better than that.

No, you are wrong. There are many "fans" here who are reactionary, who really don't understand the game, who get dejected to easily.

Tonight's game could have gone either way. It was good old-fashioned hockey; someone had to win. That's all there is to it.

Or maybe most fans don't remember how we took the first two games in New Jersey last season.

Same ****ing way.

Quick isn't the problem. He's been great. Our top 6 has been ****. Especially the big names.

Devils fans said the same thing last year :D

Bang on ,

If Stoll continues to be the best center on the ice, the Kings are done.

That series...Kings were up 2-0.

This series... Kings are down 2-0.

How are they at all related?

Give credit where due.

Just bad timing going into the playoffs. Blues were on fire with the best goalie over the last month. Kings were not doing well entering the playoffs and injuries hurt us more.

Now all we have to do is win the next two at home and we'll be in good shape again.

Maybe you should read about how well he's covered on the ice. If your tactic is for all to come down on Kopitar, you have a problem. First line got a goal. Where were the other three? Gimme a break.

They got a 5 on 3 goal, big deal.

The PP has been good, no one is questioning that. But you need to be able to score 5 on 5, and the Kings aren't doing that. Largely because their first and second line centers have been terrible 5 on 5.
