Did you guys see the Kings beating Detroit in 2001?

This series has been extremely tight, there's no way it's over right now. If you guys want to tuck tail that's fine with me, but I thought we all knew better, and were better than that.
 
Looked like the Kings packed their bags after the 1st. Somebody check Kopitar's pulse. Can't really say any player had a good game. Their passing is off and they can't generate many quality chances offensively.

King on the 2nd line is a waste and Stoll got caught with a terrible pinch looking for a check that led to the winning goal. This team needs to wake the **** up. They can't win faceoffs, they are getting pinned along the boards, and they can't connect with two consecutive passes.

Only two goals scored in two games, and none of them were 5-on-5. That's unacceptable.
 
Hey Kopi, Carter, Richards you guys can all start scoring now. Big name guys havnt been big game players this year. I'm pissed but not surprised, Quick and Williams can't be the only two guys to show up every night. And maybe one day Sutter will learn Muzzerby is a diaster waiting to happen every shift but that's just wishful thinking now.
 
Series over. And no, that's not overreaction.

Blues have more fire, more energy, more will. This is why it's impossible to repeat in a cap era.

Hopefully we ditch useless POSs like King and Ellerby in the offseason.

And oh my God the Blues defense is so much better than ours it's not even funny. Muzzin and Ellerby are absolute train wrecks.
 
This is why you play for home ice advantage. Now we need to win 2 at home and it's a new series.
 
That was a horrible goal to give up. Quick gave up two **** goals and St. Louis reaping the benefits. I don't even know what to do or say right now, I'm so ****ing depressed

Have to split those guys up.

Greene with one finger and one leg are better.

Can't have that pairing anymore.

Must play Greene. Hell, Martinez can't be any worse even rusty.

Get a clue coaches. Play the guys that are PROVEN. No more rookie mistakes.
 
The Blues' defense is incredible. I really didn't see any solid chances for the Kings the entire third period.

Going to the game on Saturday. Hope home ice turns it around for us.
 
Perron best be getting at least a hearing for that cheap head hit on Penner. I can't stand that little ****er.

Oh, and Elliot is not this good. He really isn't.
 
We definitely picked the wrong time to get our scoring drought going.

I just hope the FO knows that the second line needs a better left winger than Dwight King...

I'm not one of those fans, but when you look at how the games have gone, it's tough to be optimistic down 2-0. Kopitar has been effectively shut down.. in fact our entire top 6 has been essentially shut down.

Our defense are getting hemmed in by the Blues forecheck and really, there's only one player good enough and smart enough to move the puck out efficiently. The rest are struggling to say the least.

And Quick, as good as he's been, has let the team down on the 2 game winning goals.

Sure the games have been close, but one team is obviously carrying the play and the other is just watching it all go down.

Everything is absolutely point on. Muzzin and Ellerby are so freaking bad, it's not even funny. Dwight King is useless, how is this guy still getting playing time?

I just think Sutter's going to be looking for some spark and he may turn to Bernier. I'm not saying it's the right move or not, but I think Sutter will play JB.

Besides, as well as Quick has played thus far, he was responsible for tuesday's game winning goal and he let in another softy tonight.

I was at the game, and as far as I can tell, the Sharks really wanted to win that game too.

I am not sure what you are babbling about.
 
Quick should have had that second goal. Say what you want about the piss poor performance of the offense but both games have been lost by quick.

St louis is still misfiring on a lot of chances too. If guys like macdonald perron oshie start hitting the net on some od those shots la is in big trouble.

Brown and Williams were playing great. the other one didnt show up.
