This is the most embarrassed I've been as a Kings fan in a long time.

Penner saves his legs for the Playoffs.

Did ya see that move down the middle where he had that jump in his step. Seriously, I've never seen him skate like that before. would have been nice to see him get one...other than the face :)

Somebody didn't learn anything from gm 5 of the Cup finals last year. Keep it simple or stay in the damn crease!!! Almost made that mistake once already this game and then to do it short-handed in OT? Ouch!!!

Any questions about Quick's mental toughness will be answered next game.

I'm still not worried. St Louis played great, but we matched them and beat ourselves in the end. We're fine.

At least we know 2012 Quick is Back.

In more ways than one. :) and

Seriously, Quick. We're blaming QUICK?! The guy that made 40 saves tonight? The only reason they got to OT in the first place? The guy who was ****ing flipping all over the ice every time our defense wet themselves in front of him? You have got to be ******** me. You people are insane.

We were completely dominated tonight. One goal tonight is all we could muster. Just pathetic from the forwards to the defensemen to the coaching. But not Jonathan Quick. Just stop.

When a play you made completely on your own loses the game, no ifs ands or buts about it, you shoulder a good bit of the blame. Regardless of anything else you've done.

Overall Blues deserved the game, Elliott especially deserved it. Just look at his effort to stop tying goal even though the puck is deflected. It's good that Kings responded and woke up eventually and Jonathan Quick showed one more time he's the best goalie you can have in net in Stanley Cup playoffs.

Quick's puckhandling cost us a goal in the finals too. Parise scored an absolute gift, I dunno if you guys remember. But this guy is a horrible stickhandler, God, and to think we still had another 3 mins on that PP

You guys not wanting to blame Quick are so blind to the fact that this has been a major hole in his game since he came up and NOTHING has happened to change it. It's sad.

We actually got heavily outplayed. We don't have this series by any means. Quick put on a clinic and then screwed us over. How do we have this series?

Did you even see OT? LA got some swagger back. As soon as LA scored, their game was not the same and I don't anticipate it will be for the rest of the series. I know you're bent out of shape right now, but it will pass. Give it about 10 days. LA in 6.

Pretty sure if the Kings lose this series they'll all look back at that play for years to come. Good job Quick, you've just made one of the most embarrassing plays in LA Kings history.

Penner was possessed tonight! Lots of hard work and exactly what we need from Pancakes!

Jeez , The Kings Didn't even deserve to be in OT.

That game should have been 5-0. The kings got their as%6 Kicked for about 56 minutes.

You guys should be mad at the whole team....

That PP was also the most lackluster PP start ever....Quick held the Puck so long cause NO ONE was there to help.

Both Defenders were not in a position to help. The closest player was freaking STEEN.

Regulation and the OT saw two different teams. The Kings looked like last years Kings all through OT right up until the powerplay and the Quick mistake. Tough way to lose but I think the team bounces back with a win on Thursday

Ellerby was such a liability out there. Put Martinez or Greene, please.

Really likely Greene is back in Thursday.

We just weren't meant to win this game. Unbelievably dominated for most of the game, then clumsy play to lose it at the end. Sounds about right. Interested to see how the team comes out on Thursday.

OH come on, yeah Quick held us in the game in regulation, but the guy could have flung the puck right into the crowd and gotten a minor, and that would have been a better play than what he ended up doing. Just get the damn puck away from ya Quick!

We lost the game in the worst possible way but I'll take this loss in game one of the playoffs. Hell, if you're a player I don't think you can suffer a better to straighten things up. That goes for the coach too.

Agreed but I'd much rather have lost 1-0 in regulation than the way we just lost. That's so deflating and next game will show us if they really want to win this series and prove to the NHL that them winning last year wasn't just luck
