that double minor looked so promising.

Quick got us that far into the game.

Gotta commend St. Louis they played a tight game most of the night. One goal and it could of gone either way.

Thursday will be a good match-up following this one.

I thought it during the intermission but didn't want to put it in words. Had a feeling Quick's stickhandling would cost us in the end.

He still played brilliant otherwise. At least the Kings had some life and showed some fight...might be enough to get us through the series which looked like was going to be dominated by St. Louis.

With Quick's puck handling, something idiotic like that was bound to happen sooner or later in the playoffs

We didn't lose the game on one play, it just feels like it. We were lucky to even get OT out of that performance.

Gift wrapped that game. Unbelievable. How many times is he going to do this?

He was phenomenal though. Hopefully this lights a fire under the team's ass.

It's every time he touches the puck too. On a team with Hextall, Ranford, and Bernier for guidance... Sigh. Quick was the first star though, can't lay it at his feet.

You can blame losing it on him of course because it was his fault. But we played like **** too. Especially richards.

Meh, I don't care. Game one, whatever. I still think we got this series.

We actually got heavily outplayed. We don't have this series by any means. Quick put on a clinic and then screwed us over. How do we have this series?

That was beyond frustrating, quick plays so well and throws it all away. That was a bonehead play. Yes he played well but there's no excuse for that

That sucked, but the Blues deserved to win with the game they played. Oh well. Move on.

Seriously, Quick. We're blaming QUICK?! The guy that made 40 saves tonight? The only reason they got to OT in the first place? The guy who was ****ing flipping all over the ice every time our defense wet themselves in front of him? You have got to be ******** me. You people are insane.

We were completely dominated tonight. One goal tonight is all we could muster. Just pathetic from the forwards to the defensemen to the coaching. But not Jonathan Quick. Just stop.

So this tells me you didn't watch the game.

I'm with you and happy to see someone else say it :)

It's ok to lose one or two, just sucks that it had to be that way.

Even Superheroes have weaknesses.

Inb4 Quickie proves himself in game 2.

That was one of the dubest things that will ever happen in hockey. Richards all alone to the left, DD wide open to the right. Quick holds onto the puck for 3.7 seconds as if he's going to rush the puck up the ice. He just begged for that to happen. Steen didn't even want to pressure him until he saw Quick was just holding onto the puck. That's how long that was.

The Kings will bounce back.

So you stopped watching after regulation. Kings absolutely ragdolled the BLues in OT

I refuse to blame Quick. After watching him save our ***** for 70 minutes, it feels downright shameful.

Oh boy...well, I hope this doesn't shatter Quick's recovering confidence.

This. We had really not business being in that game for the first 2 periods. Just an unbelievable ending to have occurred with a 4min power play. Just unbelievable!!! We will really see what Quick is made of now, if he can rebound with another amazing performance (sans goal) or if he lets this get to him...

Ughhh what a horrible way to lose. I guess we can be glad it wasnt a game 7 but still...

Nah, not blaming Quick at all. It was a miss. St. Louis didn't earn that win, they got lucky. I'm more confident now that these guys aren't going far in the playoffs.

Wasn't Quick's fault. Things like this happen. All seems to even out in the playoffs, you'll get em next time.

Well, that was embarrassing. How many times have Quick played the puck and it leads to a turnover or worst a goal like tonight? I mean, the coaches have talked to him about this right? These kind of plays are just unacceptable in playoff games.

Lol can't lay it at his feet? Riiiight.

He went from first star to last star, we had a double minor PP to make things worse.

He was great, but he's stupid still thinking he can play the puck. When will he stop that ****.

That's a quick assumption. Maybe they are teaching him how to play the puck instead of ditching it as soon as he gets it. We don't know what goes on in practice.

I think that goal summed up the game pretty well actually. A lack of mental preparedness contributing to one soul sucking loss. Live by the goaltender you die by the goaltender. The Kings performance as a whole was in no way acceptable.

The Kings did not deserve to win that game and the loss was what they earned. If they don't play better there will be 3 more of them. On to Thursday.

WTF, stealing this game could of won us this series.
