What on Earth is Schenn doing?

Holy crap is this team a disaster. Everything Dean touched turn to gold for awhile there, and right now it's the total opposite, this is an awful roster he has built, the farm system is trash and we are up against the cap.

We are in sports hell going forward, too good to be a bottom feeder, poor farm system, and no cap space

This team has been crap all year. Only reason we're in the Playoffs is the Pacific sucks and the gimmick of 3 on 3. This is a heartless team. The ****ing Flyers have more fight in them. This loss is all on the Kings, the refs are not to blame.

Despite all the equity he accrued in the years before, ownership can't be thrilled with all the hockey asset and general financial mismanagement since 2014. Add a playoff-less year, and an embarrassing first round exit to your state rivals, and he may be approaching hot seat territory. Not quite there yet, but getting there.

I think it's clear that this team needs a major shake up. If there's ANYTHING at all true to that alleged Williams quote, Dean needs to address it. For all his **** about culture over the years, he's wound up with one dysfunctional team, both on and off the ice.

Sharks take the puck to the middle to score their goals, Kings continue to shoot from harmless angles that keep getting blocked or shot wide. One team wants this win more than the other, and they're not wearing black.

And people thought they were coasting after clinching a playoffs spot. Remember when they shutout the Hawks and beat the Stars the same week? Most of us were excited for the playoffs to start.

Was thinking the same thing, we won't suck with Kopitar, Doughty and Quick but this team is a long way from contending at this point and has a bottom 5 system in the NHL.

The Sekera and Lucic trades are trades that contending teams should be making, not teams that are in the black hole and have a poor farm system to begin with.

The problem with making top down changes is that Uncle Phil would really have to clean house. The lines of succession up top are filled with clones. Behind Sutter is Stevens. Behind Lombardi is Blake. Only guy I really care to keep at this moment is Futa.

Maybe it's time for Darryl to go back to the farm, and Dean to take an upstairs job. Guy is going to work himself into a stroke, anyway.

There is no way Dean is on the hot seat, no chance. While I think he is generally overrated by our fanbase and benefited greatly from two Hall of Fame caliber talents already in the system, he did win 2 Stanley Cups and deserves a lot of credit for that.

But it is a fact that Lombardi has done a very poor job the last couple of years and most of his moves would be considered failures.
