Needed that shutout tonight, but the wrong team got it.

Don’t see Stevens going anywhere next season. Who do we replacement him with? AV? Who’s even available? Also don’t see our offense getting better anytime soon. Toffoli loses every board battle and can’t finish worth a damn. Hated his performance this series. Didn’t think Fratenberg was that impressive mostly cause he seems lost when he’s alone with the puck in his own zone with pressure coming.

No need for stars when you have guys that can finish opportunities, which the Kings have very few of, if any at all. Of course it had to be McNabb. Vegas is for real, definitely see them in the Final.

I still just don't see it. They're a really, really good team. Obviously so since they just spanked the Kings but I can't see them getting by San Jose or Nashville still. San Jose and Nashville have elite speed to keep up with or even out skate Vegas. And both teams can really score and will punish Vegas on the power play. Of course San Jose isn't as good defensively as the Kings but they can really score. And Nashville can do it all. I'd probably put it at 55-45 that San Jose beats them and 60-40 that Nashville beats them.

The Taylor Swift banner. There's a "curse" that wherever she performs that team is cursed for the season. I think 2-3 baseball teams absolutely tanked after she performed at their field a few years ago.
 
If you watch the 2014 Cup documentary, there's a sense of finality that the 2012 one lacked and as we get further away from that win, that sense of an ending era just gets more profound. 2014 was so much about proving 2012 wasn't a fluke that there was nowhere to go from that peak.

No issue with Roenick’s Tweet. Those national color guys aren’t hired to be profound.

Plus, he’s right. This is one of the most embarrassing moments in Kings history, getting swept and held to three goals by a f***ing expansion team.
