He fake pissed last game in 3rd period intermission as he got stage fright from chants and people talking to him, lol.Chapstick?
nah you're trolling...you were nowhere to be found prior to the series and suddenly show up out of the blue and post in a forum you've never done beforenah. i'm providing a valid take and you do no want to engaged in a reasonable discussion about the face off circle.
I missed yesterday's segment! Please tell me he wore his own jersey! That was the discussion the day before. He fake pissed last game in 3rd period intermission as he got stage fright from chants and people talking to him, lol.
It was his struds on segment yesterday.
One texter asked should we start chanting "go struds go" from now on.
Really also wonder how many ex-oilers were in attendance. Apparently Fernando walked into the bathroom as well. Hemsky was there.
Haha no that is the best part too. Everyone was asking him where his jersey was. Like seriously I don't think I saw more than a dozen people without a jersey on, so everytime you seen that you kinda gave a wtf thought in your head and starred.I missed yesterday's segment! Draisaitl (who really should be our captain but obviously that will not happen) said it perfectly. Maturity. All those penalties come down to emotional intelligence. This series is going to come down to how many lessons (I'm so f***ing tired of hearing this word but really it's just life) have to be learned by Oilers players.
Edmonton is the better team. They play better and execute better. I loved the first 40 minutes of last game.
Watching the Oilers my only fear is "Who needs to learn a lesson today"
Last game Evan Bouchard (who was fantastic) had to learn another f***ing lesson. Love him as a player but he seems to have to be taught every lesson the hard way.
Then Desharnais steps up and decides he needs to learn a lesson with that stupid bonehead stick swing.
Even Connor McDavid had to learn a lesson last game. That pass to Draisitl was a brutal play.. BRUTAL. It's easy to criticize defensive lapses and mistakes. But the offensive mistakes are just as important. These playoffs are too tight to shit away opportunities like that. My favorite player to watch ever but that play defined that period for me.
This team is its own worst enemy... That's how good they are. It's a compliment and a criticism.
No, I'm generally one of the more optimistic posters although I definitely had my "down" moments the last few years.
That Game 1 loss left a really bad taste in my mouth that I just can't shake. The Kings were completely out of it, had very little juice as if they were conceding the loss, and the Oilers completely gave it away. I don't think the Kings will play a worse game in this series and still won so that's why I'm concerned.
I'm not saying the Oilers will lose tonight but I think this will be a harder game for them.

I give deharnais a break as it’s his first playoff game in OT at home. The others I don’t.
It’s honestly a rare attribute. You see a player make the same bonehead decision like an errant slash and you’re like “wtf“. I will say I was a big Nurse critic for this but he’s come around this year in terms of pure bonehead penalties.Yah I'm a fan of deharnais. He made a bad decision and it doesn't mean I want him off the team or anything like that.
What I'm concerned about is who's next to learn a lesson and cost this team a game? Mcleod? Yams? Kane? Enough lessons and it could cost them the series.
Mostly because I think it's the only way this team can lose this series. It's definitely how they lost game 1.
Not if we keep pounding them.I don't know, I just have a bad feeling about tonight.
I'm assuming that the Oilers will come out with a lot of energy and McDavid will surely be better but the Kings played as poorly as I've seen them play at even strength in a long time in Game 1 and still won, I don't think that'll happen again. They're going to get healthier too.
The whole team lost that game. They had a chance to put the game away and they didn't.Yah I'm a fan of deharnais. He made a bad decision and it doesn't mean I want him off the team or anything like that.

The one play that annoyed me the most from last game was Yamo receiving a pass from Drai and passively shooting to Kane's skates on a wide open net. This is the kind of garbage we are getting from him lately. Had he been more assertive, the puck would have gone in and that would have sealed the game

Watching the Oilers, Vegas, Avs, and Leafs losses is a reminder that higher seeds aren’t infallible, they just managed to win more times in the regular season. The Oilers became the Nov/Dec-Oilers in the latter half of the 3rd period and got the commensurate results….no surprise.Every home team got crushed last night, hope the Oilers come out and play 60 minutes tonight. That loss could be good for them though, need to win tonight!
All the #2 seeds loss, but at the same time going into these playoffs a lot of the series were close matchups that could've went either way.Watching the Oilers, Vegas, Avs, and Leafs losses is a reminder that higher seeds aren’t infallible, they just managed to win more times in the regular season. Turn the page boys, see you at the finish line!
Go Oilers!!!
That drove me crazy last game. Drai was tossed constantly and I saw many instances where Kopitar should have been but never was.In addition to a win I would like to see a King tossed from the faceoff circle at least once tonight.
