You're probably the most pessimistic poster on this board. So this really does not shock me. You likely think they have little chance of winning the series being down 1-0. Even with a 100% healthy roster, the Oilers have a significant edge on the Kings in every position outside of goaltending. And I'd say they even have a very small edge there as well.
LA is not going to take this team to the woodshed. Nobody has taken the Oilers to the woodshed all year. If the Oilers lose, they lose. But it's not going to be some demoralizing ass-kicking of a series if they somehow fall short tonight. Have we been watching the same team since early January? They're not going to just roll over and die.
I feel like creating a second account so I can like this twice.Doughty needs to be sent a harsh message. I think he didn't get that last game. Check the f*** out of him. Bouchard needs shoot his bomb with purpose. If Doughty can't get out of the way , that's his problem.

This is an incorrect and lame takeThe issue with him is, from my viewings, he is not a physical or scary defenceman. He is a guy the other team is licking their chops at playing against because they know they'll get a few opportunities against him to really get a scoring chance by skating by him. He is not hurting anybody. He's the ultimate fake tough guy. Biggest guy on the ice but you'd never know it going off the stats pages.
I assure you nobody on the Kings sees him as anything but a cookie ticket. In game 3 their game plan will be getting Kopiitar and Kempe out against him as much as possible to exploit how incapable he is. At least we see Nurse and Kostin really throwing their body around trying to hurt people in the first period. Where's Desharnais at any point in that game? Utter failure all around but this is nothing new for him. He has never been a physical player.
Agreed, though I’m sure Rogers Bet Net will just get worse trying to feed you the latest odds in real time during gameplay before long…With all these sports betting lines are infiltrating all our sports broadcasts at nauseum....can we at least have less restrictions on beer commercials and sponsorships???
Promoting beer over betting is better be cause with beer, you're getting a guarantee that it's going to be tasty, delicious.
Holloway should have been called up already and had a few regular games before season's end. Guy brings speed and is a tough forechecker. I guess it was the cap or the Condors being in the playoffs. Yeah, he made some bad defensive plays very early in the season but it's nonsense to keep him in Bakersfield right now. Janmark injured. Bring him in. Shore has played a few good games but to me, he doesn't move the needle as much as Holloway's speed could.

Maybe but that doesnt make it any less trueRude.
Draisaitl rarely has an off night in the playoffs.Draisaitl will have a monster game I'm feeling.
